LaTale jump distances, new glitch jumps.

Sorry for the crappy video design and mute sound, I'm new to video editing.

A category of jumps and their distances. In this video, 1 ladder width = 1 distance unit (1 U)

Standing forward jump: 2U
Running platform broad jump: 3U
Running normal jump: 4U
Running edge broad jump: 5U

Just discovered by me:
Ladder boost jump (LBJ): 7U
Super ladder boost jump (SLBJ): 10U

LBJ and SLBJ can only be performed when the last ladder skip ends EXACTLY on the platform above. It's easiest for me to do in the forest mines, but this can be done in alot of other places too (Aioch above Darkmoon Castle for example)

The game says I have 1000ms ping, but to me it feels more like 500ms.
For the LBJ, just run and jump. While jumping onto the ladder, hold down the jump, up and forward buttons.
For the SLBJ, it's the same as the ladder boost jump BUT when you reach the platform and start running, release the up button and press the normal attack button.

It may be possible to combine the knuckle user's crescent jump with the SLBJ for extra distance, however I don't have a knuckle user capable of doing this at the moment. More testing to come.

Found out something interesting.

Apparently it's possible to overglitch the SBLJ, causing the character to simply float diagonally upwards. Happened to me while trying to escape a bat mob in Forest Mines level 5 - I glitched diagonally left upwards, was chased by the bat mob, smacked to the right and I floated out of the map:



I'm at the top right corner, out of sight. The bat mobs left me and flew to the left after leaving me with 4hp (thought I died lol) After relogging I was back at the entrance.

I found out about the LBJ on my own on accident quite awhile ago, but I never thought about combining it with an attack to gain extra distance. Clever.

I've found LBJ for some time, but doesn't use it much. You can also do run jump on ladder, its like LBJ but from the ladder (less distance tho >.<).

same here... but i think that this "bug" is quite annoying while climbing up high maps... like the longest tree........... >_>

I did the LBJ and SLBJ on the day right after the maintenance that allowed me to ladderskip 8D
Shini and I had fun with that and nubs were staring at us funny in red crop field jumping around lyke crazy XD

was really hard to do the first, the second.. i can't, it seems, i do the phys hit but nothing seems to change
