[OGPlanet] Launcher doesnt know what he does

Hey Guys,

so i know what i am telling you now is..kinda the worst to hear...eh read..but still..i wished to ssee an lt char moving at a nice latency again..at least for a short time..and what else to do for a german guy than try aeria lt again..even tho i actually quitted on there lol
so i dled the game installed it..and had a few nice mins there...(whenever i can say so again on ogp's lt >_<)
and then i wanna go back..open the awesome (puke) launcher and wth...it only opens aerias lt o.O
no matter what i do..except to uninstall aeria again ((loooooool)) it will only open that up, or tell me that theres no lt installed..oh yea the third option is it opens up the korean launcher(which is absolutely NOT installed xD)
so anyone knows how to open the ogp launcher even aerias version is installed?

Go to your OGP Latale Folder and open Latalelauncher.cfg with notepad.

See if the locale = usa. I don't have Aeria so can't exactly say what problem can be but for latale every client uses the same launcher system so it what you set up will launch it. I could install OGP latale and then change the locale to Japan, so my launcher will update my latale to Japan client and launch that up.

omg you're right...it really works..even it's not exact that way..i changed the aeria cfg to the same as ogps so it works now. guess like this i will have to change it every time i wanna play "the other" version...dang cant the just change the launcher to "...eu" or so >_<

dang early enjoy smashed to the ground*-_-
now it always wants to update the aeria files with the new/current ogp ones...means the ogp launcher just uses the wrong folder i guess. can we change that in any way? and maybe i should also say...i even already tried to install aeria to a different hdd, so i thought this would solve this but still...ogp launcher gets lured there and opens that up lol

I'm kinda lost but if you are using the shortcut make sure that Shortcut going the right direction.

shortcut? wince the new launcher we cant use it for ogps lt anymore..and thats the problem. the launcher goes onto the wrong launcher/client...or better said did go...i now uninstalled aeria again..and immediately ogp works fine again...weird for me, but seems the only way so far..maybe ima HD this later to see if theres a known way between the supports

OK, I'm going to try to help, but I have to say that your posts are extremely hard to understand. Try using compete sentences, stop with all the damn ellipses and communicate clearly if you want help. The way you're posting now is just not cutting it. I actually started to not bother helping you simply because trying to read your posts was giving me a headache.

To fix this you'll need to edit your registry. Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Actoz Soft\LataleLauncher you have to edit the key "Excutable" (Yes it's spelled that way, blame Actoz) to the correct path to your OGP LaTaleLauncher exe. The default path should be:

C:\Games\OGP\La Tale\LataleLauncher.exe

If you installed OGP LT into a different place use that instead.

Why this is happening is because of the changes OGP made to force their launcher. But don't expect them to ever fix it or revert to the old method. What the players think doesn't mean anything to them.

as I read your post, i looked at my one..and it really looks gross or whatever to call it >_<
ima try to change this, guess it's some kind of a haste in such situations and not thinking about how this may be for those to read and help me.
really hope i can and will be a better poster from now on
