Is it true that the spriggans in the crystal mine drop the mining level 2 guidebook? And does your rare item drop rate help with this?

item drop rate increases the chance that a bag (item) will drop from a monster. so technically i wouldnt increase the chances of the book dropping, it would just give you more chances =D

I'm under the impression that it means higher chance of getting an item with different colored text or at least items with bonus stats.

Rare Drop Rate : Was a failed translation of "option rare drop rate"
Meaning a higher chance to get a stated drop.
Such as "green,light blue,golden/yellowish,red" named drops.
