This is where it all begins!
Some basics about dotnuri jumping first.
Learn exactly where you can stand before an edge before you fall off. This is me exactly 1 step away from the edge:

Oh, the dreaded 1 height-unit box. How ever do we jump on it perfectly??
This is where to walk-jump to land nicely on the box. WALK jump, not run! Notice the exact brick placement at my feet, this will be useful for other jumps:

Now for the shroom. After countless times of getting my behind handed to me sky-high, I figured out its basic AI.
Pattern 1: Stay still and do nothing, and be generally evil.
Pattern 2: Move in 1 direction for 0.4 seconds, then reverse direction. Change patterns after this. EXTREMELY EVIL since you will get caught by these fake outs alot.
Pattern 3: Move in 1 direction without stopping. This is rare.
Pattern 4: Get stuck at an edge for a few seconds. Happens quite frequently, and the guide abuses this fact.
General anti-shroom strategy is to wait for it to get stuck or stop before jumping over it. Don't try it while it moves, it's almost guaranteed to kick you into the sky.
Now for the jump. Wait until the shroom gets stuck at the left corner, the broad jump over him. You should land here:
Don't stop! Keep running and jump onto the box tower:
A perfect broad jump will cover tower to tower, skipping the shroom.
Continue running until you see the next shroom. This should be easy enough to avoid. Either wait for him to get stuck on the left corner and broad jump over him, or run and find him stuck in the right corner and run jump over him.
Pick the top path and run-jump onto the brick tower:
Wait until the shroom gets stuck at the left corner, then broad jump over him. immediately walk-jump or run-jump up onto the brick tower.
Run off or jump off, you'll land on ground. Continue moving on and pick the top path.
Oh wait, another evil 1 height-unit box. This is where to start your walk jump to land nicely on the box:
You'll land here. Stop and watch the shroom.
Landed on the box, and watching the shroom. This is an extremely luck-based part! You want to watch the shroom move out of the screen on the right hand side, wait for 1 second to be sure he's not faking, then broad jump onto his platform. Stay still, wait until he moves towards you and WALK-JUMP (not run jump!) over him. If he faked, you're gone. If he's nice, you'll be past him. Broad jump over the edge to land here:
Run and jump off at this point:
