Get Rich Quick for Accesory Crafters
My main mean of earning ely in the game is mining for ores, and while they do bring quite a nice amount of cash from selling at Free Market I prefer to craft them into Elemental Stones and sell them to NPC's. In case of some ores it brings more profit than selling them at FM. So I decided to put up a chart here describing how much you can earn for crafting them stones. This is not only for all those old Accesory crafters, who can use this as a reference sheet, but also for those new ones who would want to improve their bank balance Also, the values here represent amount of Ely you'd earn if every craft was a success. These may vary because at max 95% Success Rate stuff can happen.
TIP: Before attempting this please refer to Lime's /forum/latale-genera...ing-guide.html 40 Craft level will greatly improve the chance of success After that, just buy Craft Reset Book and change to Accesory Crafter, and choose Camo Acc Making as your 4th tier. Additional options don't matter IMO, but it would be good to go into Option Rate Increase. This way when you get a good stated stone you can sell it for a nice amount at FM.
And, without further ado, for the chart:

This is sorta like super-old news to folks who have been playing for a while... It's a good blurb of information, regardless. However, you forgot to factor in the price of buying the the ores.

Yeah, I thought that it'd be nice for veteran players to have a ref sheet, and to help newbies who're just starting their adventure here.

I omitted it on purpose, because prices of ores change constantly. Some time ago a cost of stack of Topaz was 900k, now I see them going for around 1,2 million. I think it's always best to mine the ores yourself, you'll earm more that way.

Ah good, i agree, this is something that's great for the new player to read. As a lot of these things, such as the whole camo craft and afk crafting isn't really documented anywhere. (thankies for linking to my short guide BTW <3)
One note =O. currently it's dura elemental stones that's really in high demand. Good option stones are still possible if you go dura. just very rare, however, should a 250+ dura 3-4 option stone end up on one's hands, it's great money there. Option can still mean money if you're into making glasses/bindis, but there's more competition in FM when it comes to glasses as opposed to elemental stones with dura.
You can also grow your guide by doing a estimate of how much profit you can make from mining in an hour to give readers an idea of what camo crafting can do in such an amount of time.

Just as a note from an experienced crafter/ex-miner:
Quote:
As an ore crafter/buyer:
LV40
Assume dist of 2 1 1 1;
Assume all 95% success chance;
Assume price of 800 900 1,000 1,100 (k);
Assume craft 15 stacks/hr;
2*1,142,460*0.95=2,170,674
1,301,520*0.95=1,236,444
1,467,840*0.95=1,394,448
1,640,100*0.95=1,558,095
2,170,674-15,840=2,154,834
1,236,444-7,920=1,228,524
1,394,448-39,600=1,354,848
1,558,095-39,600=1,518,495
2,154,834-1,600,000=554,834
1,228,524-900,000=328,524
1,354,848-1,000,000=354,848
1,518,495-1,100,000=418,495
3*(554,834+328,524+354,848+418,495)=4,970,103 in 1 hour with LV40
LV32
Assume dist of 2 1 1 1;
Assume 90% 84% 78% 72% success chance;
Assume price of 800 850 900 950 (k);
Assume craft 15 stacks/hr;
2*1,142,460*0.90=2,056,428
1,301,520*0.84=1,039,277
1,467,840*0.78=1,144,915
1,640,100*0.72=1,180,872
2,056,428-15,840=2,040,588
1,039,277-7,920=1,034,357
1,144,915-39,600=1,105,315
1,180,872-39,600=1,141,272
2,040,588-1,600,000=440,588
1,034,357-850,000=184,357
1,105,315-900,000=205,315
1,141,272-950,000=190,272
3*(440,588+184,357+205,315+190,272)=3,061,596 in 1 hour with LV32
As an ore seller:
HIGH PRICE
Assume selling price of 800 900 1,000 1,100 (k);
Assume dist of 2 1 1 1;
Assume 1*dist in 1hr;
2(800)+900+1,000+1,100=4,600 (k), or 4.6m in 1 hour mining
LOW PRICE
Assume selling price of 800 850 900 950 (k);
Assume dist of 2 1 1 1;
Assume 1*dist in 1hr;
2(800)+850+900+950=4,300 (k), or 4.3m in 1 hour mining
|
In short; unless you have a high level crafter (level 40 or close to it), crafting yields you less money/hr spent. Or in simpler terms, it's better for most people to mine 4 hours than to mine 3 hours and craft 1 hour.
Also, I am aware that one can craft up to 2,400 ores in one hour. However, NPCing does take time and it does reduce the number of crafts to about 1,500 ores (500 crafts).
I also omitted the value of any "special" stones, so this is strictly speaking from Ely gained NPCing.
If you absolutely cannot stand mining, go for crafting. If you can live with mining, you should invest your time in it as it generates more money (even if you sell your ores low--unless you have a crafter level 36+).

It takes quite a while, I always did it on a second PC while I did stuff on the main PC. I could hear when the crafting stopped and would go NPC the stones, then start it back up. If you check the stones to see if they're worth saving or not it takes a bit longer too.
With a high-level TH with Lucky Hit boss farming is quicker now. I'll still mine some as I get bored doing the same thing over and over, and I can't really watch TV/Anime/Etc. while boss farming like I can while mining.
