Section a. : What is PvP?
------------------------------
PvP stands for Player versus Player. In the world of LaTale, monsters aren't the ONLY things you will be bashing. That's right! You can fight other players too!
-------------------------------------
Section b. : How to start PvPing
-------------------------------------
To Start PvPing, you must do 2 things:
1. Prepare yourself for some fun.
2. Talk to NPC ------[?] in Elias PvP Arena and select Option ------[?]
-----------------------------------
Section c. : How matches work
-----------------------------------
The PvP System in LaTale is quite simple. After talking to the Npc, you will get matched up randomly with a player who recently clicked the Npc. If you want to PvP your friends or a specific player, make sure you talk to the Npc at the exact same time.
You are given 5 Choices on how to PvP:
1v1
2v2
3v3
4v4
and Random/All
There are 3 different PvP Stages:
- A "Gold-Coin" one with 3 floating platforms and "flat" bottom landscape.
- A stage with buildings similiar to Yong Gyoung and Aoich, all buildings as platforms. This stage has special "power-ups" that you can get by passing through them.
- A mario/dotnuri - like stage with 4 Main Platforms and 3 "Tubes" in which you can take advantage of. These 3 tubes let you teleport to the other Tubes placed along the map by pressing up.
Matches are timed and last 5 Minutes[?] (correct me if im wrong)
The player with the most kills and least deaths is named the winner or 1st place in a match with more than 2 people.
-------------------------------------
Section d. : The Benefits of PvP
-------------------------------------
Everytime you pvp, you rank up and get points for the ranking boards, regardless if you win or lose. Simply put, PvPing is a win+win situation. You also get special PvP potions for winning at times, that you can use for that "special someone" to PWN. Dont forget it's also fun, kills time+boredom, and you can pwn ppl.
BASH BASH BASH!!!

Section e. : Classes and PvP
-----------------------------------
In the long run, I can say all classes CAN dominate PvP. The main argument is.. which class is better? DEX Warlords or AGI Bladers?
It really goes down to 2 things: If the Warlord uses a DEX pudding, the warlord has a big chance of winning. But if you dont, AGI bladers on the same skill level can mow you down.
and 2nd, it all comes down to the person behind the keyboard, if they can execute well, and if they have faster fingers.
Bladers: Agi Bladers are known for mowing others down quick and easy. Bladers can really dominate at a cost... most of their attacks keep you vulnerable from behind. Their DPS is really a threat, and they are the only class that can double jump!
Warlords: Dex Warlords are also known for their viciousness as well. Their attacks are solid, but not quite as fast as other classes. Nonetheless, DEX warlords were made to PvP.
Sorcerers: Sorcerers are the glass cannons: they can deal a whopping of damage at a pretty decent speed rate and they are ranged. Untouchable if you can execute them well, but if not, have fun kiting.
Bards: Pvping with a Bard leaves NO room for mistakes. Take advantage of JAS as much as you can. Its give or take. Timing is essential for a Bard. Though very vulnerable, Bards can clean out a mob of Pvpers in a few... strums.
Treasure Hunters: Being ranged is their biggest advantage. Whether you are a XBOW, BOW or DAGGER TH, you must take full advantage of the map. Sniping is the key!
Guardians: As a matter of fact, the top PVP Rank in Korean/Japanese Latale is a Guardian!(as of now) They can string together fast combos. One of biggest pros of being a guardian is that you can play close-ranged AND long-ranged.
Gunslingers: The king or queen of Speed in PvP is the gunslinger. Fast and ranged combos lead to easy kills. The only real con is that gunslingers damage output isnt that great. But hey, the speed makes up for it.
Templars: DEF! Templars attack quite fast and have great DEF to boot. Charge in with style in PvP arena, but dont forget to JAS!

Section f. : PvP "Must-Know" Strategies
------------------------------------------
*JUMP ACTION/ATTACK SKILLING also known as JAS*
Jump, Normal Attack and then use a Skill.
Execute this quickly and in the right direction, you will be using this alot.
JAS does NOT work with Wizards, Sorcerers.
If you have PvP Potions, you can pot in the middle of JAS to cancel "Skill Knockback".
*Dodging*
Obviously you have to dodge when needed.
The best ways to dodge are:
-Dash away in the opposite direction
-Dash away in he opposite direction then ATTACK then dash the opposite OPPOSITE direction to confuse others
-Dash towards them then jump and face them while in the air to land a back attack. Risky, but if you know what you are doing, you can JAS and land a back attack. In this case, it would be best not to use a PvP potion because Skill Knockback can actually help you dash away if your enemy turns around and tries to attack you.
*Guarding*
Works great against ranged players, either to DUCK or simply take half damage then strike after.
-Hold down
*Rope/Ladder Skipping*
This will help you dodge + climb a ladder or rope ALOT quicker. Great for surprise attacks.
-Jump on to climb on a rope/ladder, Jump to one side, Face the other way, Press up immediately
Up, Left+Jump, Right, Up
Up, Right+Jump, Left, Up.... basically.
Use in conjunction with JAS if possible. Dashing + Jumping to go on a rope is good to latch on, but it takes timing, focus and no lag.
*Resting*
After you kill someone, it is advised to sit down somewhere to generate HP, while waiting for them to come back.
*Victory Poses*
After killing someone, throw in some EMOTES to show who is victorious!
...will add more.... feedback and suggestions/corrections are highly accepted~
