No flaming please. XD; This is one of the few times I actually did an FAQ.
Facepalm Scenario Quest Walkthrough
Introduction:
Mai naem r ArturiaPendragon. I laik carrotz. I also laik salt.
Anyways, welcome to my guide which revolves around the hidden scenario known as Facepalm Scenario Quest, which is only appeared in English Latale. It appeared around the time when Chonpalm Scenario came out. This is probably the hardest scenario quest which has ever been made from what I seen, and this scenario is completely optional. However, this scenario is worth it as it nets you 10,000,000 EXP, as well as 10m Ely as well as 1 Valkyrie Coupon, Nii, as well as the special Kazno Boulder. Now. I need to remind you that you have to follow what was written or else you will screw up. Don’t believe in me, and you will be the loser. If you want to complete this Scenario quest, don’t question me again. If you can’t do that, I will consider you as an obstacle that needs to be removed. There has been rumors that once there is a new location at the Elias Airport, this quest may be taken down. =l
Requirements to take Scenario:
Your Level MUST be 66, and have exactly 66.66% EXP, as well as completed all the scenario quests until Ocean King. And if you already sold your scenario quest Items, I’m afraid that you will never wonder about the wonders of this scenario quest. If you cannot take the Pandora quest or the Ocean King quest during that level, then clearly you did not do something that you were supposed to do before.
To get the Pandora quest from the king, you must amaze the king by defeating Invoke scenario in less than 10 minutes without the help of other party members, as well as your level below 30. To get the Ocean King Scenario in a low level, you must get the Salt ability from Toad Island (See other guides for that), and spray it on Sunsung from Ves after you are done with Pandora. After you sprayed at him enough, he will start yelling at you and give you the Scenario quest, sending you to your death. Feel free to party with high level people with this.
The quest will end like normal, and make sure you match the requirements above.
Walkthrough:
Basically I will explain the whole script as well as what to do during the quest. Don't read the script if you don't want to my spoiled, thanks. <3

Spoiler!
~*Inn*~
Treo: *machine language here*
Player: … Huh?
Treo: *more machine language here*
>> END <<
From here, there are two options which are very, VERY important. There are two which are...
-- Option –-
> Try to communicate back.
Find someone who can talk to it.
-- --
ABSOLUTELY CHOOSE THE FIRST. If you have chosen the second, it will only lead you to the original Chonpalm quest! There will be another one like this that you have to select later, but it won't be that soon. Anyways, choose that.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
Player: Umm… *machine language*
Treo: !?!?!?
Player: *machine language*…?
Treo: *malfunctions and breaks down*
Player: (…… Ooops, I broke him… Better find someone who can help repair him. There should be someone who can fix him. I bet someone around Atlantis will know.)
>> END <<
Now, go outside of the street, and meet with Anastasha, who is just around outside of Atlantis. You should automatically start a conversation when you are near her.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
~*Player goes to meet Anastasha*~
Anastasha: Who are you? From your clothes, you look like someone outside of Atlantis.
Player: Yes, I am. It seems I broke a certain calculator at the Atlantis Inn…
Anastasha: Oh, Mr. Treo. Let me guess, you tried talking to it in machine language, didn’t you?
Player: …
Anastasha: Don’t worry, it happens to most people outside of Atlantis. Why else did we seal him in a lonely room?
Player: Well…
Anastasha: It’s not just that. Have you got any other questions in your mind which you might have been thinking? Perhaps why there are no bathrooms in town, and why can’t you go up and down, but only left and right?
Player: … No, I haven’t really thought about that.
Anastasha: Of course you didn’t. The only thing you’re thinking about is Iris, and her party members! Have you ever thought about us minor characters? No? I thought so!
Player: Umm…
Anastasha: Oh, sorry, I lost my temper there. Anyways, I can probably fix him. Meet you in the inn, okay?
>> END <<
Once that is done, make sure you go back to the inn to where Mr. Treo is. Another conversation will happen there.
>> SCRIPT <<
~*Back at the Inn*~
Spoiler!
Anastasha: Oh good, you came.
Player: How is everything?
Anastasha: We almost got everything right. There’s only one thing left that we need to fix Mr. Treo. We need the Elixir of Atlantis, capable of restoring life to those who are dead.
Player: Elixir of Atlantis? It’s easy to find judging by it’s name, right?
Anastasha: It was. But however as Atlantis sank, the supplies and ingredients of the elixir went down lost in the sea.
Player: Won’t a potion of Resurrection work?
Anastasha: No, it won’t. The Elixir has much more power compared to the effects of just a normal Resurrection potion. And the elixir only works on Mr. Treo.
Player: I see. Do you have any idea where to get this Elixir?
Anastasha: I think one of Iris’ party members, Chonpalm, has it. You can find her at the Kimaira lab. Of course, that’s just a rumor…
Player: (Chonpalm! I heard that from the Princess of the Dark Moon Castle before!)
Anastasha: If you happen to meet her, could you ask her to give one of the elixirs to you?
Player: I was planning to meet her anyway. But sure, why not?... (Although, Kimaira… Where have I heard that before?)
Anastasha: … You know, if you haven’t heard of Kimaira before, you can always check on the dictionary.
Player: No thanks, I hate dictionaries.
>> END <<
Make your way towards the end of the Kimaira Lab. Do remember that you need a party with you. It's still alright to bring party members with you, so go ahead and bring them to Chonpalm with you. A conversation will start when you reach there. Oh, and it's alright to gain some EXP now, as long as you DO NOT LEVEL.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
~*Kimaira lab*~
Chonpalm: Oh, you actually made it here! Who are you?
Player: My name is Player. And you must be…?
Chonpalm: Chonpalm. What brings you all the way here?
Player: Well, I want to ask you about Iris’ party, and the Elixir of Atlantis.
Chonpalm: Iris’ party?!?!?!?! You’ll pay for just mentioning that! I’m going to blow your head off!
>> END <<
And then you fight Chonpalm. Your party killing her is alright, so don't worry about it. Make sure you try to stay alive though. With your level, she can take you out with just one hit, or maybe a few hits. A shield is reccomended.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
Chonpalm: Haa… haa… You’re really good for someone who haven’t even advanced to second job yet…!
Player: Thank you. Now please, tell me what you know about Iris’ party, and please give me one of the Elixirs.
Chonpalm: Fine… here is the Elixir, Cherry flavored. *Elixir get!* And about Iris’ party… no, Iris, you should know, that she is not what you think that she is.
Player: What do you mean?
Chonpalm: All the stories that you heard about Iris are only part true. There are still parts of that child that you did not know. It was a story which was never known but only to a few people.
Player: Can you tell me about it?
Chonpalm: … No, it is best that you know about her all by yourself. You shouldn’t be here for so long
Player: I understand.
Chonpalm: Oh yeah, Player?
Player: Yes?
Chonpalm: Make sure you bring back some corn to eat next time you visit me. It’s very hard to live down here eating only giant meat.
Player: Eww… Can’t you just go back to Atlantis?
Chonpalm: Are you kidding? If any place saw my face, they would raise pitchforks and torches at me! They think I am some kind of traitor to Iris! Accursed Iris fanboys!
Player: Very well then. (Corn, huh? But I heard corns are heartbreakers.)
>> END <<
Once you got the Elixir, which is at your Event Items, bring it to the inn, and back to Treo's room. Once again, there will be another conversation.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
~*Back at Atlantis Inn*~
Anastasha: Ahh, you. Welcome back, I suppose you got back the Elixir?
Player: Yes, here it is.
Anastasha: Way to go. Alright, wait just a minute….........
Player: Are you done?
Anastasha: … No.
Player: Done yet?
Anastasha: No.
Player: … Are you done?
Anastasha: These things take time!
Player: Are you do-
Anastasha: STFU.
Player: …
Treo: *machine language*
Player: It worked! He came back!
Anastasha: What do you expect?
Treo: *more machine language*
Anastasha: Oh, Mr. Treo said thank you.
Player: You actually understand what is he saying?
Anastasha: I learned it for a few years just to speak with him.
Treo: *… yeah machine language*
Anastasha: Mr. Treo also says you smell like wet socks for not bathing.
Player: … Thanks.
Treo: *ahfljasf machine language*
Anastasha: Oh, Mr. Treo says that if you want to know more about Iris, you should actually talk to Kanzo again.
Player: Didn’t he already told me what he want me to know?
Anastasha: Not the full story, I believe. Besides, didn’t Chonpalm said something about most people not knowing the true story?
Player: … How did you know that?
Anastasha: What, you think I’m just some minor NPC? I’m a wizard, a wizard!
Self explainory in the Script, go and visit Kazno. He should be at the Yong Gyoung Inn, at one of the rooms. Go ahead and approach him, and another conversation yet again will come out.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
~*Meeting up with Kazno*~
Kazno: Ahh, you! Welcome back! I couldn’t manage to contact you, so I thought you are dead somewhere.
Player: … That hurts. Anyway, Kazno, please tell me the truth about Iris.
Kazno: … You know, I can’t take your words seriously in that weird fashion.
Player: That huts too. Come on, tell me.
Kazno: … So you have heard. From Chonpalm, I believe. Yes, there is another story about Iris, but do you still want to hear about it? It’s not really a pleasant tale and your journey is hard seeking this story.
>> END <<
Now, just like before, there are two options which are extremely important! You are provided with two options. If you chosen the second option, all your efforts for getting this quest will be gone! So make sure you choose the first option!
-- Option --
> Yes, I want to learn the truth.
No, I rather not…
-- --
Choose that and there will be a small story...
>> START<<
Spoiler!
Kazno: … As expected from you, Player. Very well. I am not completely sure myself, but have you wondered why has Iris not came back yet?
Player: Is it because that the Demon King did something to her? No one wanted to talk about it.
Kazno: You are half right. But if she was in deep trouble, she could have used a Warp Crystal or a town capsule to warp back, to save us from so much trouble. And you wouldn’t have got yourself into this mess in the first place.
Player: What if her Warp Capsule is broken or she has no Town capsules?
Kazno: Are you crazy?! What kind of person doesn’t bring a Warp Capsule or a Town Capsule, or even an Iris stone Fragment before they go to an extremely long dungeon!?
Random person: *Achoo!*
Player: But if she died, she’ll go back to where she was…
Kanzo: … But she didn’t. So she must still be alive somewhere having fun or something. Or maybe getting tortured while still alive. Or maybe playing a game. Or maybe watching us from a security camera. Or maybe she’s taking a hot bath without us knowing.
Player: I get it so... Is that all you know?
Kazno: Yes. That’s all. But there was one place I have yet to investigate, nor is it accessible in any way.
Player: Then how do you go there?
Kazno: Do you still have the Compass I gave you? That compass can help you get to a certain unreachable place.
Player: But there are rusts around the compass…
Kazno: Don’t talk like that to my beauty! She’s my most prized possession!
Player: You know, when you turn to the back of the compass, you can actually see Zoe is in the showe-
Kazno: Don’t say things like that! Do you want us to get banned by the GMs?!
Player: Who?
Kazno: Just… just go!!!
Player: Okay, okay... Hey, what's this?
-- You got Kazno Boulder! --
Kazno: Hey! That's my boulder!!!
Player: Hey, it's better than the Kazno stone which is sold in LaDeck... Why do you sell STONES in LaDeck anyway?
Kazno: ... Because they're mine. And they're shiny. I sell Kazno pebbles for good business.
Player: I see... Good luck with that plan.
-- Facepalm Scenario obtained! –
>> END <<
Now you got an item, known as the Kazno Boulder. Once you use it, you will gain 50 levels. However, it's untradable by any means. Since you got the scenario now, you are free to level up if you wish, and that is reccomended, since the dungeon you are going to go to next will not be easy. I reccomend to level up at least level 90 and above... Unless you want to use the Kazno Boulder.
Once you are done leveling, note that Kazno compass can be used as a Consume Item now. Use it, and a small compass will come out at the top right of the screen. Follow the red arrow on the compass and you will end up in Liliput.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
~*Player reaches at Liliput, near the Iris stone*~
Player: According to the compass, the area should be around here...... Eh? *looks up* A flying dungeon in the sky? I never seen that one before.
Nai: Ahh, so you noticed the flying dungeon? Very good. Most people never bothered to look up.
Player: Is there any way I could get up there?
Nai: Ahh, we can use that hot air balloon...
Player: ... The one which crashed multiple times at Toad Island?
Nai: Yes! That! But mark my words that Liliput's technology is absolute!
Player: Still haven't figured it out, haven't you, Nai?
Nai: Hmm... But I do not think my airship alone can reach such a place that far. I'm sorry.
>> END <<
Since Nai is unavailable, there's only one other person who can take you on the Air. Go to Elias Airport and talk to the Air Stewerdess who brings you to the wedding hall.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
Air Stewerdess: Welcome to Elias Airlines! We will take you to any place, any time!
Player: Yeah, umm... can you take me to the flying city over Liliput?
Air Stewerdess: Really? We only know how to get to the Wedding hall!
Player: Just... try to fly over there, please?
Air Stewerdess: As you say. That will be 1,000,000 Ely.
Player: What?! 1,000,000 Ely?!
Air Stewerdess: What do you expect? We never flew anywhere other than the Wedding Hall!
Player: ... The wedding hall is only a few Yards away. It's not even as far as between Elias and Yong Gyoung.
Air Stewerdess: We need safety precautions! What if we crash!?
Player: There's no other planes in the air.
Air Stewerdess: We can crash in the clouds! We need money!
>> END <<
You heard her. You need money to fly on the airplane to Liliput. ~_~ Go and gather 1,000,000 Ely for her. Don't worry, you'll get back that money quick. Once you are finished with your preperations, go and talk to her.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
Air Stewerdess: Thank you for your money! Now let's get going!
>> END <<
You'll be in the airplane for around 15 seconds, and after that, you'll end up in front of a castle. The moment you step out, you will come to ANOTHER conversation.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
Player: Kanzo says that I can get more information about Iris in here... Hmm?
Dialog box: Muwen's scroll suddenly glows...
Player: Hmm. *opens up Muwen's scroll*
"I was with Iris on her journey...
We had so much fun together...
I eventually became her fanboy.
I took pictures of her when she was sleeping, she is so cute...
But Zoe took them away, so that makes me sad.
Anyways, it was that time after we fought the Demon Lord in the castle...
Iris was victorious in the end, but however..."
Player: So it is actually readable... I got a feeling that my questions will be answered inside.
>> END <<
Outside of the castle gates, there are two Talismans on a small pillar, except for the pillar at the middle. Note that you can actually use your scenario quest Items here. Double Click the Talisman of the Sun God in front of the middle pillar and you can procceed.
Inside the castle has only a few rooms, but it's very hard. There are no Iris stones here, and the monsters are really hard. There is Spirit Shaowee, Spirit Kanzo, Spirit Zoe, and Spirit Dark Moon Princess. Spirit Kanzo is the weakest as he can only throw Kanzo Pebbles at you with only 1 damage, Spirit Shaowee is the hardest as she can cover more range, and can deal 500 damage with her most powerful attack, if you are not careful. Beating them will net you at least 4000 Ely each, and decent EXP as well.
At the end of the first room, there are two statues, one Angel, and one Demon. Go to the middle of the statues and use the Mino gemstone. There are the same monsters at the second room, so not much to worry about, other than alot of places to jump grab. At the end of the level, there is a big large blue door in front of you. Use the Ocean King Key and walk to the last level.
There are no monsters at the last level, other than a stone tablet. "Talk" to the stone tablet and a conversation will happen.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
Player: A stone tablet?... Ahh! It's written by...
"XX Day:
I was having some peaceful lunch in my void, when suddenly, some girl from the Derr clan invaded my place without any mercy. I did not know what exactly did I do wrong, but since I am the Demon King, I commanded all my monsters to take out her and her party. However, her... quick running skills are amazing, as she only leaves the fighting to her other party members, while she gets all the credit."
"It took some time to finally corner her party members somewhere that only that foolish child from the Derr clan came to me. As expected, she doesn't know how to defend herself properly, or attack, regardless of her weapons, seeing that this is actually her one of the few rounds of her battle."
"My attack would have actually knocked her unconcious, making her die, but that was when I realize that something was wrong. That child from the Derr clan... Iris, is actually a-"
Player: ... The message stops here......
???: I see you really took your investigations well. I actually never expected you to come here, however.
Player: But... why did that last part get erased? Who did it? And what was the Demon King's final words?
???: *polite cough*
Player: Oh, sorry about that... You!?
Iris: Yes, me. Iris. I was the one you are looking for. And the one who has the answer to most of your questions. I have been watching you, and I would say that it's a fine journey you have.
Player: Iris, finally I found you! Now everyone could actually rejoice, and I could go back to my own world!
Iris: Unfortunately, I couldn't do that. I mean, look at this castle! I'm finally alone from all the constant nagging that my party members give me! Monsters which work for me! I'm finally free, that I'm spinning out of control!~
Player: That totally goes against what everyone was saying about you!
Iris: Oh, that's what happens when you eat too much ice cream. I know you couldn't find the Ice cream stand either, couldn't you? I brought them all before I went to the demon king!
Player: How did you know about me finding Ice cream anyway?
Iris: That is why the internet exists! You all do nothing but desperately ask around the cities about something, when all I could do was check the forums!
Player: But isn't the internet for por-
Iris: Be quiet! Do not mock my knowledge! For that insult, and the knowledge that you have about me, it's time for you to be exterminated!
>> END <<
Unfortunately, you couldn't win against Iris. The battle will probably end in less than 5 second. Iris will point her finger towards you and you will get 9999 damage which is unavoidable.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
Player: Those moves! And that damage you done! You must be something else!
Iris: Yes, I, Iris, is actually GM LaughingMan! How do you think I dealed 9999 damage to the demon King when the original damage was just 1!?
Player: So Iris is just an alternate name?!
Iris: Well, I do need a nice name for a young girl, so why not Iris?
Kazno: Iris!!! I knew something was wrong!
Iris: Kazno?! How did you get here?!
Kazno: I ninja.
Player: *throws the Vironta at Kanzo*
Kazno: Iriiiiissss!... *faints*
Player: ......... So my whole journey was to find you? A TARP?
Iris: That's pretty much it. Chonpalm was the one who founded out the secret first, so she backstabbed me.
Player: ORLY?
Iris: YARLY. So I'll let you off for now. If you actually tell this, no one will believe you anyway. That and if someone believes you, you'll be... deleted.
Player: I-I'll keep that in mind.
Iris: Good. Now GTFO!
~*Automatically Ends up outside of Chonpalm's dungeon*~
>> END <<
After knowing the truth about Iris, go back to see Chonpalm at the dungeon.
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
Chonpalm: Ahh, I see that you actually managed to learn the whole truth... shocking, isn't it?
Player: Yes, What am I supposed to do now?
Chonpalm: I'm not sure. Maybe you should start going towards Midgard, and actually pretend that you don't know anything from the moment you broke the calculator.
Player: ?! You knew?!
Chonpalm: Yes, I knew. "Iris" isn't the only one using the internet, you know.
Player: ... I see. Thank you.
Chonpalm: Hey, Player?
Player: Yes?
Chonpalm: Where's my corn?
Player: ......
Chonpalm: ... I'm going to blow your head off!
>> END <<
Chonpalm challenges you again. I hope you're ready for her. After you win her, your quest is done! Congratulations for beating Facepalm scenario!
>> SCRIPT <<
Spoiler!
Chonpalm: You really have gotten stronger! Great! Off you go them! And remember!
Player: I'll keep that in mind.
-- Facepalm scenario complete! --
>> END <<
FAQ:
Q: Are you sure this is real? I seen no one talk about it!
A: Like I mentioned, this quest is very hard to get, and only a handful of people know it. Consider yourself great if you actually manage to get this.
Q: How do you time yourself during the Invoke quest!?
A: Use a stopwatch and start the clock from the moment you got the quest, and stop it when you submit the quest. If it is less than 10 minutes, retire the quest and try again. Remember your level must be below 30.
Q: What level do you suggest using the Kazno Boulder?
A: At least level 150. There are only one of these things, so make sure you use them right.
Q: Help! My friend actually survived the fight against Iris!
A: He or she obviously hacked the game. I'm sorry, but he will probably be stuck in that castle forever.
Q: I accidently sold away my Vironta when I am in the Lunar Castle! Kazno ran away!
A: Follow him! If you stay in one spot for too long, Iris will kick you back to Chonpalm! You may have not completed the Facepalm scenario, but at least you can obtain Kazno and Iris as a playable character!
Q: Would Resurrection pots work on the Iris battle? I want to beat Iris T.T (By Sandrie)
A: Iris is impossible to beat, unless you haxed the game. No, res pots won't work in battle.

K So Today. I finally managed to finish this quest. I have 1 problem. My character is deleted. What should I do?
Your character deleted must probably mean that you have said something about this quest... Guess Iris wasn't kidding not to tell anyone. D:
You can either call the help desk to request that your char come back, or you can ask a friend to start praying to the Iris stone, hoping you will come back. DDDD:
