just out of curiosity, anyone notice how they only make nice banners for the appreciation event now? o3o there was that one from the ipod too but that prolly wont happen again anytime soon so really theres just updates and this (since appreciation events happen that often .-.)

I actually think the prizes themselves are fairly good, but the amounts of astros they're making us spend are totally not worth it. They don't even have a small prize for spending a smaller number of astros this time. :X

I lol'd at the astros needed. You need atleast 50 or so dollars to even get into this event, and getting 5k Astros are So not worth it just. For. One. Brownie.

this reward list is alot crapper then the last one atleast it gave primes for getting the first 2 tiers. That 1500 tier might be the only thing worth getting

... But I think the prizes were worse... Last time if I recall, the last customer appreciation event has better prizes...

Apparently this is a new addition to La Tale English, where "appreciation" means "we like your wallets, the rest of you can go die, ktnks!"

So far every time they've done this the event has gotten worse. The one back in December/January had some decent prizes that you could get without spending a fortune. The last one had maybe one or two decent ones for the non-stinking-rich. This one the prizes start at $45 spent, and nearly $300 for a brownie? What a joke.

And WTF is up with the first prize at 900 Astros then the next one 100 Astros higher, then after that it's all a minimum of 500 Astros apart. Maybe they should have just been honest and called it the "F*** off if you don't spend at least $50" event. Just so it's clearer, here's what you have to spend for each prize going with the 1,000 Astros for $50 rate (so if you buy Astros at a different rate the amount may be higher.):

• $45.00 = 2x Prime Item Nostrums (Only $22.50 each!)
• $50.00 = 5x Gold Dart of Luck ($10 each!)
• $75.00 = 6x Prime XP Potions ($12.50 each!)
• $100.00 = 2x Superior Ely Nostrums, 2x Superior Item Nostrums ($25.00 each!!)
• $155.00 = Iris Stone Coupon
• $275.00 = Brownie Coupon

The iPad contest one really doesn't count cause it was done more for Lost Saga than LT actually. They just announced it on all the games to drive more interest. I also suspect Diddy Dollars probably made the banner in that instance, since they provided the prize.

My $0.00 Toby wins! I won one from one of the free hammers I got on a mule account. Still haven't opened it, hoping I'll either get another Brownie, a Domesti or win an event and get a Belle for my Blader before I start playing her regularly again. In that case I'll probably use Toby on Mana to boost her farming abilities even more.

Though how much can you buy an Iris Stone in the FM?

I think the coupons are fairly cheap? Probably 8 ~ 15mil?
I haven't been in the FM in a while to look at prices.

Personally I expected this of OGP, especially after this mass banning that occurred. Do you remember when they used to give out Gabriel/Lucifer Sets and Iris Stones as the Patch Prizes for the Fashion Screenshot Contest and such? Yeah, not anymore. And to be honest, I am not surprised that they 'raised the bar' for this customer appreciation event.

Do all us older TO players remember the first Poppuri event? That was THE BEST and most GENEROUS event that happened to the player-base of that game. It gave out marvelous amounts of Fashion Shop Currency, and Fashion Shop Items, and everyone was happy.

However, there were some er....'Smart' people who thought it would be LULZTEHAWESOME to make multiple accounts to 'reap the full benefits' provided in this event. Thus what happened is that NTreev sales dropped ERRATICALLY after the event, which caused a stir within the company, and caused them to investigate.

It turns out, some people had abused the event for almost $1000 of what they provided in NTreev Cash and items given out.

From then on, every Poppuri event had much smaller prizes, and increased difficulty and guidelines for becoming eligible.


Now let's come back to LaTale, with our marvelous 'Free Astro Abusers'.
These people thought it would be LULZTEHAWESOME to reap the Free Astro System for more than it was intended, thus leading to a large loss in sales on for OGP, thus causing them to investigate. Obviously, there was a mass ban on all the frauders, and now, with so much lost money, they have nothing to do, but increase the money they pull in, and decrease the money they give away to their players.

You see, it really all comes down to the big circle of greed and selfishness of some people, all they really do is take for themselves what they are taking away from others.

This is why I am not discontent with OGP for this event, hell, I don't see why anyone is complaining, they aren't asking you to spend more, they are simply hosting an event for people that actually decide to put money into their game to play it. And you people are totally assuming that they are like "OMG THIS EVENT REQUIRES YOU TO PAY MONEY TO GAIN THE PRIZES THAT ONLY 5 PEOPLE WHAT ACTUALLY SUCCEED AND GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ANYWAYS LOL. And it's not their fault that they don't give out prizes like they did back then, in order for us to enjoy the game for ourselves, we all need to be honest and devoted to the company that provides it, why should we expect them to be generous to us when all we did was take away from them?

-edit- To the person who seriously thought I was referring to the entire Player-base of this game. No I was referring to a majority that abused the Free Astro Offers and took this away from us. I simply don't get why people complain about an event the OGP could have never even had in the first place, it's not costing us anything .-.?
