This is the latest update on OGP Gamecard pricing.

OGP Gamecards purchased in the United States:

US $10 = 150 Astros
US $25 = 375 Astros

OGP Gamecards purchased in Canada:

CA $10 = 140 Astros
CA $25 = 350 Astros

OGP Gamecards purchased in Great Britain:

£10 = 195 Astros*

*This pricing applies only to purchases made through OGPlanet Login Page. It does not apply to OGPLANET EUROPE.

Yeah, which I can't access. I asked them to compensate, and this is the crap they came up with- ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES.
The Wallie System is excellent, but go figure, I cannot access it.

It's not there are no stores in his area, it's that none of the stores carry Wallie cards.

You need a card?! I thought I read "Just ask for them to register a Wallie PIN at the register for purchase and enter the pin". I guess I should start look harder T_T

Start looking. My store is listed on the Wallie site, but I know you can't buy Wallie pins there.

Checked, and so many stores I never knew that existed the 5 years I was here in VA o_o; But I bet most of 'em won't know what to do anyways.

I kinda-get but dont' agree with the card reduction, but the conversion rate for a Wallie is just "wtf?!" since you're entering a balance and get less for what you paid for T_T

First of all, great that they've finally decided to sell the cards in England

But honestly, £10 for 195 astros? When I charge through my debit card it works out 200 for £6.50, so I think I'd rather continue charging through debit than going through the hassle of finding a store and losing a huge chunk of astros.

Debit/Credit cards are always the best option since you don't lose anything from the transaction. Plus with debit cards, I at least know what I'm doing.

You could also buy a Visa Gift Card. Those are practically the same as a debit card.

If you use the $20~200 card, you can charge any amount you want into it. The activation fee here is $5.95.
That's pretty good if you charge $100 + 5.95 = $105.95 for 2,000 astros.

So... let me get this straight. You pay $5.95 FIRST to activate a card. Then for every transaction attempted, you'll get your full Astros value?

If my comprehension succeeds this time, yay! That and the % of loss lessens with each dollar I put in XD

The Visa Gift Card can only be recharged once, which is during the purchase.
It's only good if you recharge $80+ since anything below is a waste of the $5.95 fee. :x

Once you register the Gift Card and link it to Paypal, you can use all the money you recharged into that Gift Card. There is a $1 deduction fee but that disappears after 10 minutes or so.
If you do something wrong, like transferring the money into Paypal, you messed up.


Example
I go to the Safeway near me. I find the Gift Card packet that says $20~200. I tell the cashier $100 and he'll enter that value and make the card usable.
I pay $100 + activation fee of $5.95.

You get home and register the card, which as $100. Once you register the card and link to Paypal, you can recharge the $100 value. Once that's done, the gift card is obsolete.



There are some certain gift cards that have a one time activation fee and lets you recharge as much as you want without paying the activation after. The problem is I'm unsure if that's true since we don't have that type of gift card here. :x
The expiration date of the card is probably 6 months or so.

$80-$100 is O_O to me currently. I'll wait til I'm 21 and have a job lol or use savings since I never spend except on others X_X

Hopefully La Tale will still hold up on OGP or be taken in by a company that does NOT use the -25% stuff. That or the impossible which is OGP actually finding effort to find a company that doesn't charge 'em for production costs orz
