But if it's not a plain background or you don't want to be sloppy, people can always do what I do: zoom up on the sprite and use the PLT to cut out the background, pixel by pixel 8D

I still have CS2. I didn't want to upgrade to CS3. There's actually a CS4? Woooow it's just like terrible video game sequels.

Makes me think about Adobe Flash 10 vs. my Macromedia Flash 8. At least AS3 is a major improvement over AS2 scripting languages.

I love my CS2. One, because its a "free" *COUGH* copy I got from a friend in Germany right after CS2 first came out (I like listening to the music on the keygen lol), and also, it suits my purposes just fine, I dont see the need to dish out $$$ for features I dont need and probably wont use. Photoshop is too expensive to be pulled in by 'Ohh shiny' when new versions come out x_x




I also have an old PS7 version shoved on a cd somewhere...

CS2 is the only PS I've ever used and when I used it, I only used a few features and I never needed any of the stuff in the new versions. And, yes, the keygen has some pretty epic music.

Yeah, keeping up to date on new versions of Photoshop is completely unnecessary for casual users. I still love it. I dont know how people can stand to work in like.. GIMP or something. I tried it and it drove me crazy.

What Veil said ;o Why do people bother upgrading? I've been using the SAME version of CS1 that I got in 2004, it's not legit and is some Middle Eastern version I downloaded off supernova.org, back when that site still existed, and it's done a lot of wonders for me so far ' -' I totally swear by it. There's really no need to keep up with all these new releases if people are only going to use it casually.



I'm not sure drinking that much energy drink is good for you Dx
