Came back from San Diego yesterday, but I'm still tired. It almost feels surreal to be back in Davis after having driven back and forth all across California

LET THE ADVENTURE BEGIN!!!!

We took off from Davis at 2am. It was dark, nobody was on the road... and after approximately 5 minutes of sitting in the back seat I passed out. But I woke up after we made a stop at Chevron to take this picture--and then promptly fell back asleep again


When went straight to Koko's Surf Cafe for breakfast after stopping at my boyfriend's friend's apartment (NO TIME FOR REST!!!). It's a popular place, apparently--as demonstrated by the extremely long line we had to wait in before getting served. But it was worth it! Because the dining area looks out onto the beach. It was so relaxing and soothing


And then Bean got her feet wet in ocean and all sandy at the beach

And then we went to the SAN DIEGO ZOO!!! Contrary to what Step or Muffin might have told me, the zoo was delightful and charming. It was also huge and had many inclines that made my calves hurt.



The zoo was very nice. I got to excavate fossils, hang out with giant sloths, and ride elephants!

After the zoo, we went to a fancy restaurant called the Elephant Bar to celebrate my boyfriend's friend's birthday. And then after the gifts were open and all 19 guests settled down for some board games, my bf and I snuck out for some delicious caek--and just some time reserved for each other :3


The cake was delicious (albeit slightly on the expensive side)! And I apologize for looking like a mess =3= This is what Bean looks like after having traveled half the length of California with little rest and even less time to wash up and look cleanly.

Sunday morning we headed back to Davis, but made a stop in Step's town to have breakfast! HI STEP!!!

Step wasn't as perverted in person as he was online--unless he was holding back or something AND I FORGOT TO ASK HIM ABOUT THE ANT STORY. Baw. We shall save it for another time

He's only pervy online cause we all basically encourage it lol. But hes not like that irl. Atleast, not as bad lol. Our phone conversations were often normal and completely unpervy xD Cept a couple times, but that was rare, and it was just some casual comments.
