We have to read the assigned quote and write at least 1/2 a page on what it's about.

I'm seeing this quote in a somewhat pessimistic light.

The first part is saying that you should use your abilities to the extent, live life to the fullest. You have the potential to do/be anything you want. But the second part is saying that "Because that is all you have". If you don't do it, then you're nothing and you'll amount to nothing. It's both inspirational and depressing.

That's just me though~

You should be your own role model and go your own route, dont let anyone change you because you can only be yourself.
