O' Mallow
 

You guys have probably long passed this mini-boss, but I just had a couple of questions regarding his quest:

So I found O' Mallow's hideout, used the trap, lured him out, got squished and died. I can't find the trap in my inventory anymore. Is there anyway to get it back? Or do I have to party with someone who has the same quest as me?

Because I'd really like to finish this quest ;__; thank you~

Hasn't happened to me, but have you tried talking to the NPC again?

oOo! Nevermind. Someone summoned O' Mallow and we killed it. We'll never solve this mystery, but at least the quest is completed! Thanks, Flaris :D

Quit the quest then start it again next time you do a quest that requires you to do something like that.

Just abort the quest and talk to the NPC again to get the summoning item :D
