Emotional attachments aside, what's so special about forming a couple with someone? I know about the whole exp and stats boost thing, and the difference between cash and GP rings, but are there any other perks to be had?
I'm asking because 1) someone mentioned some prize you get for coupling for 100 days and 2) I think I've gotten like 10+ couple requests since I picked up GC again, and it's annoying.
Additional perk is if it says you're female when people hover their mouse over you, being coupled should put an end to those annoying random couple requests.

Actually, from what I heard, you WERE supposed to get a Winky pet, (That rabbit.) if you coupled for 100 days or more.
But apparently, it was never implemented in NAGC.
It's just hearsay, so I can't be 100% sure.

Oh yeah!! I remember that. There was a thread about it here when couples first came out. It's true. You were supposed to get a Winky pet for being a couple for 100 days or more, but they never implemented it in NAGC. Instead, we got an event where you'd get Winky if you bought cash points using an Ultimate Game Card.
Actually, I don't think it was Winky, but a different set of bunny pets. One was pink and one was blue, and they weren't the same as Winky.

Ahh ok. I had them confused because Winky is a pink bunny and the couple pets have a pink bunny so I thought Winky was the pink one.
I forgot the exact values. I believe it was 5% or 10% EXP boost (if on the same team), 5% or 10% Stat Boost (if on the same team. "Couple Heart" will appear if in the same room. Hearts will appear when near each other (Bigger hearts if you have Cash Rings). Couples' Chat Window/Equipments will be available, just for looks and chats. It'll also tell you how long you've been together by placing the mouse icon over the "Day(s) Bar." Certain events only gave temporary Couples Equipment, only viewable in the Couples' Chat. When coupling, Cash Rings will have an announcement to the Public Chat and Park's Marquee. Nothing else is special.
