Start the game

Copy/Paste from a link ThisIsAPen gave some pages back...then paste the ones from ResSet (because some are missing form the link)

Then login?

Well you don't start the game at all if you want to swap in the files.
Swap the files first, keep a copy of your original files.
start the game using
"C:\Ntreev\Grand Chase\main.exe" __kogstudios_original_service__
or wherever you download your grandchase in.
Remember the above link is needed for the game to start and bypass the patcher.
Well...... then the game should be loaded with your files and you can login.

Basically Kowiz program on the first page bypasses the patcher as well. I am not sure if it is linked to the download for the working files but the program also back up your current files. You can use that to bypass the patcher if you don't know what I am typing above for the main.exe shortcut.

@ThisIsAPen they had a server maintenance earlier to correct the lag issues so you got to repatch back then for the program to connect to login server again. It is now after a patch though :P

ummm if u still cant start the game, heres my solution (ish...idk, maybe might work) patch ur game legitly first (as in, runner the patcher instead of the main.exe shortcut) and after u've patched the game legitly, copy and paste the sound back in and run the game thru main.exe shortcut thingy

Same here, but dungeon wise is fine I think. The game basically hangs and stop responding. Closing itself after a while.

renew_elesis.kom is added in this week's patch so...... any idea if it might affect elesis's skill voices?
Not sure if I might DC during practice mode test like sieghart's 4th.

Well for now skill voice in practice mode seemed fine.

EDIT: by the way Elesis's skill voice worked fine without the renew_elesis.kom from Kr, that is inside of practice mode. No idea if it worked fine in dungeons. (Her 3rd bar magnum break sounds in Kr to me within dungeons)

how do i get the korean voices, kowiz link does not work

Hi,I saw this thread while googling for grand chase korean voices. I used to play grand chase season 2 and i recently joined nagc(season 3).About changing the voices, i used to to it in season 2(replace files in sound folder) and that's what i attempted to do. I downloaded the taiwan gc(they use the korean voice) and replaced the sound folder from twgc into nagc. However the voices worked only till siren(amy 3rd),ryan st,shisa(jin 2nd) and gladiator(sieg 1st). Based on what i read in this thread, it seems like the voice files are kept somewhere else (resSet) and i tried replacing the folder with the twgc one too, but it gave me an error when i ran the game(patch bypasser) saying that i attempted to modify my files and closed the game down. Did i do something wrong? Anyone help me please? ps:Thanks for reading this wall of text

Oh yea regarding the ResSet files swap, you can only swap in stuff like char_dio1.kom, char_dio2.kom, char_amy4.kom, char_jin2.kom, char_jin4.kom, char_mari.kom, char_mari1.kom, char_mari2.kom, etc.

Skill_ronan1.kom, etc.
Lazygenius.kom.

Swapping the rest changes the game itself so it won't start I guess.

edit: ok....after trying it the second time it worked and a couple of other weird stuff happened ; stygian's scythe disappearing,sieghart's body disappearing etc.

Yea for now Dio's stygian soul reaper, and All of sieghart's prime knight set is "invisible". No idea how to negate this except by not changing anything related to Dio and Sieg in the ResSet area.


EDIT: Ok this week's patch is a little different, Arme's revamp brought about one changed skill (her 2nd job white magic 3rd bar). Therefore it sounds out in EN's 2nd job black magic 1st bar. Gonna test to see if the Kr file fix that. On the side note: no mishap with arme in practice mode.

EDIT2: oh well didn't work so I guess have to live with the En sound for her 2nd job 3rd bar white magic. hehe there is actually a SERVICE 2 link, gonna try that out.

EDIT3: oh well failed :P maybe got to wait out a few more weeks DX. By the way where is Kowiz?

Hello, can someone re-upload the sound files?
Nearly all the links on this thread are broken and i would really like to have the Korean voice Sieghart's 4th job.

Also, the automated swap doesn't work anymore, as the patch keeps getting the message "cannot resolve to hostname" or "specified files cannot be found". The GCsound.bat also seems to delete itself whenever i try to run it.
Is the Kowiz server down?

Is the link to sieghart's 4th job voice, but be warned not to go into practice mode, also don't be alarmed if you see invisible cash primeknight set/weapon.

By the way how to make arme's voice in KR for her 1st job 3 bars white magic skill.
