Price for Valentine's Sale Changed

It appears they changed the price for the Valnetine's Sale Event.

Tier 1 went from 10,000 points to 5,000 points
Tier 2 went from 20,000 points to 10,000 points

Tier 3 and 4 (containing the pets) remains the same. Put your input here.

As long as the pet price remains the same, the other changes are pointless. The only thing you get from the first two tiers are timed items and that bag (iirc). It's so insignificant. I am still disappointed in SGI, but then again, I probably shouldn't have expected anything from them.

The pets are still 40k.

Nexon's gotten much better than from before. Don't know what you're talkin about.

Either that, or I'm playing the right game (Mabinogi), buying the right stuff (pets) that makes the money all worth it.

Anyways, it'll take Couples a cumulative $80 to match their pets with each other. Nice cha-ching there, Some Greedy Institute.

Nexon has their ups and down. Experiencing from MapleStory, they've been releasing a few adjustment related to cash: either permanent cash items (slightly expensive from the original, but still affordable), extended time cash items (365 days but staying with the same price), or discounted items on a weekly/biweekly basis on decent equipment. For Februrary, they shaved off around 7~9 dollars for the marriage cash shop item, but at least it's a discount for something. They have to make money to support the server somehow anyways.

Also, GrandChase USA is no longer Ntreev. It's SGI now. And for a start, it is pretty expensive. How many people in ggFTW actually spent $40? I'm in debate for myself.

Veloze 02-17-2011 09:41 PM

IIRC, I've given around 130 dollars to NTreev.
Not a lot, but that's more than $40.

I remember spending around 70 bucks during my Trickster days, but then I vowed to never cash in GC, except from surveys or events. Sometimes, the things that Ntreev/SGI do (coughgachacough) really frustrate me.

too lazy to charge cash for this game anymore, unless they added avatar cards
