I can't remember all of Ryan's details, but it deals with switched up mission items. Same amounts, but switched.

Leveling isn't really slower.
Don't think you get as many QJs as NAGC's.
But you're allowed to swap on BGC, which can be fast exp if you know how to do it fast. and uhm, it only takes less than 30 mins to hit level 5 so you can get 2nd job fast.

Iunno, I've yet to do 3rd or 4th job quests on other versions, only 2nd job.
But I believe they need pvp.
And uhm, don't you have to pvp for getting ryan?
