The hell? The OP was up less than 8 hours ago, and people already have 30 points. I recall hearing somewhere that "oh raids will only be on weekends, deca etc was a random thing", and suddenly 5 people get 30 points from Swamp angler? Seriously.

I cannot be in ANY raid except on certain weekends because of timezones, and today was definitely NOT a weekend, and 30 points have already been awarded, so I guess this "system" is extremely not in favor of me, or people in my timezone/cannot be active when we are.

This "system" should actually count when there's been a forum post thread, with a "notification" to tell everyone that there will be a raid, and who'll take part etc. This way you can actually give a chance to everyone who wants the points, and it won't be just a "oh hay i found a boss ill solo it for points" shet. But whatever.

I guess I'll be doing raids without the squad/with Master Looter rule then. It's pointless for me to take part in every single raid on the weekends, and lose all the items I feel I can use to the people who take part in the raid on weekdays too.

You realize that we don't raid as a clan every day, right? Especially the raids that I listed above.

Swamp angler was an impromptu raid because Sears, Fineti, and Vai needed the quest for it -- they've been needing it for a while now.

And as far as getting your points go, there's this rule

6. If you participated in a applicable raid with a maximum of 3 people, you may donate your item to clan treasury. You will get points depending on the rarity of the item you donated and the raid that you fought in. The screenshot rule still applies.

so if you FFA with another clan for Gerero/Diablo/etc. when you're online and you happen to get a raid worthy item from it, then you can donate it to the clan treasury for points if you want. This is totally up to you and I won't force you to do this.

And yes, I know that the system has its own share of flaws -- it's not close to perfect and it took 4 revisions before the majority of the clan was satisfied with it. I'm trying my best to make raids fair for everyone, especially in raids that involve more than 4 people.

By the way, you should know by now that all major raids are almost all the time 90% on weekends. And again, SA was an impromptu raid because many people needed it for the quest.

In light of recent events and a certain PM, I've decided to cancel the raid point system. There are many flaws to it, and I have no time to correct them because I have to work now. To those who disliked the system, I'm sorry for trying to make raids fair.
