The ggFTW Games Team is looking to recruit!

We want people who:

1. Are passionate about games (MMOs in general, but any game is fine!)
2. Like writing reviews or gaming articles
3. Actively hunt out new games/keep updated with the latest game news
4. Team players! (being able to appreciate free cookies are a plus)
5. Being able to play NON-Localized mmos are certainly a plus!
6. Optional: Can get high-quality vids of MMORPG gameplay.

The general scope:

1. Help maintain the Games Database.
2. Write reviews/articles
3. Hunt for new or updated news on games

However, we are also open to any ideas YOU may have on how we can run this ship better! Throw in a suggestion with what YOU would like to do (MMO related, of course)!

Rewards:

1. SATISFACTION, SATISFACTION.
2. Something about being able to get those Gaming Cards faster... hmm...
3. Cookies!
4. Hidden ggFTW staff stash!

HOW TO APPLY

• Fill the application form below.
• PM your application to Yuki, Kotarou and Harlequin on or before the 23rd of May.
• Wait until you are contacted to schedule an interview. Interviews are usually done via IM like MSN, IRC, or Skype chat.
• Successful applicants will start on a trial basis for 1-2 months to learn the ropes, as well as be evaluated for satisfactory performance before becoming a regular staffer.

I has questions before I apply. Do we have deadlines for articles? If we record gameplay do we have to commentate like what NoeJeko did in the vids?

^You are required to submit, at a minimum, 2 reviews a month, but this can be adjusted based on the other kinds of work you are doing for us.

^Regarding video narration, no, it is not necessary.

Does being in a different country affect your chances at being picked?

Just a question for in the future if I want to apply... I'm very busy with Animation classes these days.

How much does your join date/post counts affect you as an applicant?

We have a decent number of Asian staff here. I don't think the country you are from has any bearing on the chances of you being picked.
