Chargebacks cost us time and money to resolve. I've had to deal with $105 in chargebacks over the last 3 days. Please make sure that you are authorized to use the PayPal account from which you send donations. We do appreciate the donations, but chargebacks are a liability - not an asset.
Our procedure for dealing with chargebacks is as follows:
1st time: You will be removed from the donor group - regardless of how much was charged back and how much you have donated to date. We will also accept no further donations from the account.
2nd time: You will be permanently banned for abuse of the donation system.
It was one single user that used three different PayPal accounts in donations. It occurred during September's initial donation flood so I didn't catch it. The offending user has been banned and refunds issued.
