How much would you sell your right to vote?

Assuming that it's legal for you to vote, anyway.

Of course there are a lot of factors. How many votes you'd be selling off, who you're selling it to, the amount of other people selling their vote, etc.

Just found this an interesting topic on another forum.

If it would only be for one time, not my right to vote for the rest of my life, I think I could exchange it for $1 million. I wouldn't sell my RIGHT to vote, just one vote.

I don't see anything about that it had to be a politician who'd buy it .
Also, they could hire people to control for them.

I'd probably sell for $4k-5k if I don't have a candidate I want to vote for. Unless they're paying me to vote for someone I was planning to vote for anyway. I wouldn't sell my RIGHT to vote. Just one vote at a single election.

I'd sell my right to vote for 1 Million, because in Canada no one really gives two shits about elections in comparison to America.

Makes me mad that America has it as a big deal (and it is), and Canada is just "oh yeah vote for this guy" on some poster or TV ad.
