MM/DD/YYYY or MM/DD/YY
Let's take Thanksgiving '08.
Sounding it out in my head, the way I'd say or write the date alphanumerically would be November 27th, 2008.
So, along the lines of November 27, 2008, in my head month comes before day. 11/27/2008 or 11/27/08.
The confusion comes when I stumble upon a DD/MM/YYYY (DD/MM/YY) situation. If I were to make any sense of that in my head, it would have to be me thinking "The 27th of November in the year 2008." Now, when the two formats are used interchangeably, unless one of the first two sections exceeds 12, I'm at a loss without any other form of context. Of course, I never knew that this was predominantly a SEA sort of thing. Guess I learn something new everyday. =/
In Ragnarok Online, I was once known as Athero, a noble Lord Knight whose only wish was that he swung his sword for a just cause.
TrueSilverFox and Mon_Ami roamed Caballa together in Trickster Online, searching its ruins of splendor.
Valeria, sworn only to her sword and herself, traverses Erinn in Mabinogi with her pet silver fox, Truesilver.
"Whoa, TrueSilverFox, girl! Anyone ever tell you you look like some sun-bronzed Greek Goddess these days?"
