[Survey]Are you happy with your ISP?
State out whats your current ISP, are you satisfied with the service?
Please state out the reasons.
If you've switched from another ISP to another ISP, do state what's your previous ISP, and why you switched it?
---///
Let me start first, my ISP, which is known as TM[nut] Streamyx[gaymyx, screamyx, any names], ugh...bad bad bad ISP, monopoly, and yet, lausy service, frequent downtime, and also, terrible tech support, refer to: http://www.mymmogames.net/forum/rand...7-0-0-1-a.html
I can't change to another ISP, since...there's no other ISP beside this one <_<'
/sigh.

I have lots of complaints about TmNut Screamyx. They are the biggest ISP in Malaysia, but they provide lackluster services.
For example, when they say "1mb" they actually means "1mb divided between 25 people, where 1mb is the maximum speed you can get :3. Also, when you test with our TmNut Faildometer (tm) you automatically get free 999mb connection for that test."

I use Verizon DSL and since I live close to a CO I can get 3Mbps/768Kbps so that's pretty good for my needs. I'm totally satisfied with it as there's rarely ever anything that lets me download at over 300KB per second anyway.

I am using Shaw, and I am pretty pissed off at them.
Unless its just a hardware problem, the price for the speed they give and service just don't cut it.
(yes I am having the problems again)
We pay for the "High Speed" package, which is up to 5mbps download speed limit.
we usually get a 300~500kbps connection, when I know we should be getting far more, so I am pretty mad about that.. cause I do download fairly big files and they sure take their time in downloading.
As for gaming, I tend to disconnect or experience a bad ping, the bandwidth is easily drained when it shouldn't be.
I think its fair to say, I am not really satisfied with my current isp.

The only problem I have with my ISP is that I have a 40GB limit. And me and my brother and sister have broken it twice (mostly my brother's fault, downloading too many Chinese or Korean films).

In the US, and there are major monopolies here when it comes to ISPs. It is either good cable, or shitty DSL. I know some places have satellite which is pretty good and brings some competition.
I have a pretty good service with Unlimited (but the real limit has to be 200GB or something), and it won't change until Verizon FiOS lays lines down here. Time Warner is horrible in Cali though, but been experiencing some problems here lately. Other than that, fairly satisfied, but services could be better with competition.

I had Shaw but I had to switch to a lame ISP when I moved basically its some crappy cable company.
This ISP annoys me ALOT. It gives random lags when I am playing games.
It doesn't load as fast and has a really low bandwidth limit....

10mb/sec (1.25Megabyte/second speeds, usually I get 300Kilobyte to 700Kilobyte/second, but with a download manager I can get to that speed) , only disappointed me once or twice (internet down due to extreme circumstances, and wierd lag every morning for 3 days) otherwise I'm very satisfied, only lag I ever get is RAM lag [on my desktop, in gaming] and wireless lag [old router, but works well]. Bandwith limit is like 120GB + or something

Resnet. 17mb/s is the current cap, I think. Horray school internet.

Rogers.
My family is under a old contract that doesnt have the Monthly Usage, but the problem is... we have the lowest service provided by them Q_Q 512kbps/256kbps... There are 4 of us who share this one connection, so basically I cant play any online game without lagging when they are using it as well... I have to play either when no one is home or late at night...

Currently a Cox user. It's not as good as it used to be. Remeber about 4~5 years ago I was able to get 400~500kb download speeds easily (Min). Now with more users since they provide basically the best cable service around here, I would be happy to get over 200Kb Max.
This is why I usually hang around the University now with their massive bandwith that's like 10x faster than home. Though ironically the University uses the same ISP as I do at home.
I would love to have Verizon FiOS. I would switch to it in a heartbeat.
