Nintendo's next console will debut at E3 in June, moving the maker of Mario and Zelda into the HD era. The news, first reported by Game Informer today, confirms rumors that have been swirling for months in the wake of slowing game releases from Nintendo.
Furthermore, we've heard that the machine will be more powerful than current-gen systems, meaning Nintendo, currently backing a Wii that is weaker in horsepower than the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, will be showing a new console that is more powerful than those current competitors.
I doubt it'd be able to beat the ps3 hardware wise but it could beat 360 if Nintendo somehow manages. I just hope more titles pop up asking for classic controller or something rather then the dumb wiimote. Hate that fffing thing.
Also HD wii get?

But I'm silently kicking myself in the butt for buying a Wii in October. But hey, getting Monster Hunter and Brawl was so worth it. I just hope people can do like a trade-in discount like they did with the DS series.
They may need a name change for their next-gen console.
I still don't have a Wii but I've been wanting one. But then I noticed how long it's been since the Wii came out and have been waiting because I kept feeling like a next-gen was due to be announced soon.
I wish they made a Paper Mario game for the Wii 2 instead of the 3DS. The big jump from Paper Mario 64 to the Thousand Year Door was great and they could improve on it even more with the Wii 2 (Random thoughts)
