Welp. Somehow ended up on the same server as reddit and /vg/. Time to make a character on a different server. Didn't really like my favourite name being used on my Necro anyway.

my DPS is so low with a pistol...

Your weapon swap is your kits. Literally the most versatile class with what.....potentially 30 or something skills on hand to use?

Seems to be a bug with Sylvari Guardians. Gloves and part of the upper armour refuse to register dye colours from character creation. So much for armour with proper colours.

Just finished Sylvari beta story. This bug annoys the hell out of me and I hope it's fixed once retail comes because I had it the right colours in the character creator.

You can change/add dyes to your armor after you've created your character.

I thought it was alright. Don't like the trees some of the traits are in though for guardian. Wanted to do a Scepter/Torch guardian (made me think of a ranged paladin too much) that focuses on the burn proc but I think it gets shafted hard when looking at the trait lines that stuff is in.

Is this game worth the purchase? Saw some gameplay videos and am I right if I say it's somewhat like Dragon Nest? I liked Dragon Nest btw.

Nope, not at all. It's still a tab targetting MMO with a change here or there to have a not 100% generic battle system. Expect a lot of content though. I estimate it anything, at least you can play it like a single player RPG.
