Well. The 80GB is $299, but Kmart is claiming you can get a 120 GB for $299 from them, or you can buy the $399 one it is 160 GB and comes with Uncharted.

You know. To this day I'm still pretty pissed about of PS2 BC...remember when the 360 came out?, all the Sony fan boys based MS so hard for it, saying how the PS3 will >>>> because it has BC...it did...for a few consoles, then dropped it, and now the 360 supports nearly all if not all Xbox titles....

Point is, the PS2 doesn't have HDMI. gg. I do have a PS2 but I don't want to yank out two consoles to plug into my TV.
Sony already patented (or was it copyrighted) a way for the PS3 CPU to emulate the PS2's Emotion Engine recently. The only problem is WHEN it will be implemented into a firmware.
In other news, firmware v3.0 has been announced, and it brings some changes to the XMB...

Sony has not backed this up in writing, which is why our source wished to remain anonymous.
Although the bundle will arrive in October, perhaps only Uncharted II - released on 23rd October - will appear then. Assassin's Creed is due on 20th Novmember, and Sony has only officially narrowed the date for GT5 to Q4 2009.
The crescendo in retailer chatter suggests the platform holder may be poised to make an announcement soon. Yet, for now, its validity - and what Microsoft will counter with - remains to be seen.

GAH the new 120GB PS3 Slim is $496 over here. Plus GTA4.
So that comes down to US$420: a bloody rip-off since a GTA4 game is definitely not worth US$120 >_>
