I've been playing this for the past few days, and it's a bloody awesome RPG. There's so many game mechanics, that it'd be stupid to try and show them all in a video. Very unique RPG, GET IT PEOPLE!

Yep. A decent port though, since they didn't add many things...

Yeah, the game is slow at the start, but then really kicks it into gear gameplay-wise after the 3rd chapter on, and then it gets better and better....=D.

only game i've played developed by Gust was Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana o3o

Battle system was kinda weird, mainly the artwork. Kinda old style IMO..

Although game was quite fun. Never finished it though.


Anyways... wasn't this the game for the PSP that was going to have 2 UMD's? Im assuming for part 1 and part 2

No, I didn't even know PSP had 2 UMD games ._.


Here's the PS2 version of a boss battle that shows most or all the BATTLE features, but the PSP version is almost a direct port, so it'll do. Seems the animation in the PS2 version is a lot faster than the PSP ._. Might be kinda hard to figure out what's going on.

Can anyone tell me the difference from the ps2 version to the psp one?
I heard the psp one was much laggier though, but does it still have the freezing bug in the extra last dungeon? And to not scare some of you about that bug, its a very small bug, and you can get through the whole extra dungeon without it fine.
But yeah, I've played 3 run throughs on this, maxed out Roxis' magic, and I managed to beat the final boss in the extra dungeon without any of the uber equipment =o
I can say, I felt proud at the end, Also, Flay's Ending = win
I highly recommend this to all people who are looking for a very nice rpg to play through =o

I think the PSP one lags way more than the PS2 one. They add anything special?

The only new thing added is a Co-op multiplayer mode, and new items that can only be won in multiplayer. Other than that, direct port.

If you use a UMD, there's noticeable loading time, but if you ISO it then it's fine.

i was reading the review of the psp version before i saw this thread @_@; according to the ones who played it the ps2 version was better. since the psp one is kinda laggy @_@ dunno i might try and get it too. and for content i think the co-op thing was added lol

Got the ISO, seems fine so far, although it's kinda hard to get use to the graphics. Could be better IMO. I guess they put too much work into the OP and less into the characters.

Don't want to go off topic but remembered what the game with 2 UMD was, its Eiyuu Densetsu Sora no Kiseki. Heard its great.

The background outside of battle is really low res stuff, (Seriously, it's like they took a low res texture and then stretched it...) but eh...I can deal with it.

The "fine" will turn into "AWESOME SHIT!" after a few chapters, takes a while to really get access to all the mechanics.

I'm hoping it does does i only just started (2nd class ch1 LOL) and im hating Nikki and Jess o_o Nikka has ugly hammer and Wth @ Jess's "Normal" attack.

Just wait, Jess' normal attack gets even more Wth-ish
And yeah, I dislike Nikki, I stopped using her right when I could =x
Muppy/Flay ftw, two of my fav characters in an rpg yet =o

And yeah, you kinda have to bear through the beggining, Its tad slow, but the battle's do get more intresting. Make sure you do the quests on the board too =x
