Little Big Planet (PS3 Exclusive)

I'm honestly going to buy a PS3...just for this game. The video below shows off the games amazing physics engine and limitless possibilities of what you can do when creating your own maps.

Everything you encounter during the game's built in levels can be used to create your own levels, and through out all the videos, there's a lot you can do. This next video is a capture of Sony's Press Conference where they used Little Big Planet, you'll have to watch.

It won't be out until Oct/Nov of this year, and with the PS3 80gig dropping its price to $399, I'm definitely going to buy one now x.x darn you Little Big Planet...how I want thee.

I wouldn't buy a ps3 just to play little big planet. But if i already had that (Lame) system i would get it.
honestly i don't think the ps3 has much going for it.

Well, with FFXIII coming to Xbox 360 also, I think you're right about not having much going for it. But since I don't have a 360, I'd probably buy FFXIII for PS3 also.

I got to play this at TGS. it was a lot of fun- but i'm hoping they do the internet part really well, cause i think that's where it gets really fun.

Considering nintendo products are the only things that sell extremely well on the platform I don't think third party devs are liking the vibe they are getting from it or the software ratios, the potential market is expanding greatly for the system but considering that games should be selling bucket loads more then they are its actually a very bad sign.

On-topic

I'm looking forward to the title, I love building things (software engineer) so this thing will make me happy for quite some time and be very enjoyable to play at work to get me out of mind locks.
