Valkyria Chronicles features a unique turn-based battle system called BLiTZ (Battle of Live Tactical Zones). In-between turns the player is treated to an overhead map view, Command Mode, but zooms in to control each individual unit on the battlefield during Action Mode. Movement and other actions are handled in real time during Action Mode, though limited by an AP gauge that varies for each character. This gauge can recharge even during the same turn as you operate other characters. Additionally, the player is in direct control of characters' aim during Target Mode, allowing for head-shots and other advantages. Oh man, anyone got this game? It's pretty sick IMO, sick as in awesome! Lol, it's like a mix FFT and CoD or any shooter game. You choose someone and go! There's a lot of strategy to it, too. I'm like, stuck on this Chapter 5 or 6 battle D8
The graphics are pretty amazing, they're a CANVAS thing, I think it's new or something. But it's like a painting come to motion! Lol, you should see how nicely the characters look on my TV ;3 The music is very nice and reminds me of the old FFT days back in elementary school 8D The only thing is I can't make my own Henry Q____Q Lol, but I get this pool of super cool characters 8D
