I actually sat down and watched the whole thing and it really does make you wonder and see how mmo's effect ones life and it makes sense. The last video around time 8:20 is exactly what Ntreev is all about lol

Redundant, too predictable, logical, unchallenging, unengaging work - > no motivation to work -> compromise by getting pleasure from an internal part of your brain interacting with the virtual world in order to invest time and gain something in the virtual world -> others see it as something with value -> play with friends -> more enjoyable experience/can contact them -> playing to compromise a dull or boring part of your life -> to dominate the virtual word (level, have most gold, armour, explore the most, kill and pvp the most, best titles, best equipment, most influence one everyone, have alot of friends, maniupalate them) ie : power -> over primary life (hard to get everything) -> immersify inside a fantansy with much in-game consequences as possible

I'd rather have a transcript too but I've just watched part of number 2 and finished numebr 1, I'll watch the rest when I get home in like 20 minutes.

It's a little depressing watching these videos because I'm an addicted gamer, which is quite sad really. I don't think I suffer from most of the symptoms she listed though, well I hope I don't suffer from them.

The only thing I really lose is my social life but it shouldn't be too hard to get it back if I ever wanted it again. Not many people in real life know that I'm an addicted gamer anyways.

Boredom is the mind killer. I used to enjoy MMOs for long periods and lately I'm lucky if I can enjoy one for a month; but there's nothing else to do.
