This is Yume Nikki.

It's a game about a girl named Madotsuki who starts tripping balls in her dreams. To beat the game you have to collect all of the effects scattered around her dreams (so it's kinda like pokemon on drugs 8D)

Whadda ya mean no rpg elements? RPG = role playing game = playing the role of a weird little girl.

Most of the games I've played lately are set too much in a fixed world without the messed up aspects that drew me to video games in the first place.

Yume Nikki is a wonderful game that really brings it down to the honest basics without stripping us of too much eyecandy that were are given these days.

It's interesting storyline makes for so much interpretation and mystery that hasn't been investigated or thought about.

I love it.
