One Piece Pirate Warriors 2

Quote:

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is an action/adventure in development by Tecmo Koei’s Omega Force. The game will be published by Namco Bandai Games in Japan (PS3/PSVita) and Europe (PS3 only) sometime in the summer of 2013. No word on a North American release date at this time.
Never played a Dynasty Warriors game before, but since this is One Piece I might try to get it. (The first one has been out since last year I think? It only had a few characters though~)

Intro:

Lots of trailers!

------------------------------------------------------

Saiyan Island has also been posting gameplay trailers with some of the characters movesets:

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2: 4 Gameplay Videos, 50 Screenshots, 9 Art | Saiyan Island

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 – Law, Perona, Robin, Smoker Movesets | Saiyan Island

------------------------------------------------------

And last week a demo was released on the Japanese PSN! You can play as Luffy or Law.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2: Nami, Robin, Hancock, Perona DLC, Blackbeard Confirmed | Saiyan Island

Quote:

Two brand new One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 scans have been released! They confirm downloadable content (DLC) in the form of alternate costumes for Nami, Robin, Hancock, and Perona. These aren’t just any random costumes, they are from past games released by Tecmo Koei. Nami is dressed as Kunoichi and Nico Robin as Kaihime from the Samurai Warriors series of games. Boa Hancock will get a Diao Chan costume, and Perona will get a Wang Yuanji from the Dynasty Warriors series of games.

Last, but not least, Blackbeard is confirmed as a playable character in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2!

http://www.saiyanisland.com/2013/03/...reviewed-3740/

Quote:

KANPAI! Popular Japanese magazine Famitsu has spoken! They have reviewed One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 and given the PS3 version a big 37/40! That’s the highest score ever we can remember here at Saiyan Island given to a One Piece game! The PS Vita version of Pirate Warriors 2 was also reviewed and given a 36/40, the same score the previous record holder, Pirate Warriors 1!

So how does Famitsu score their games? They generally have four reviewers who take the time to play the game and rate it out of 10. The compilation of their scores becomes the final Famitsu review score for the game. In other words, for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 for PS3, three reviewers gave it a 9 out of 10 and one gave it a 10 out of 10, leading the final score to be a 37 out of 40. Here is a comparison of scores for the last few One Piece games released;
  • One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 (PS3) – 10/9/9/9 (37/40)
  • One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 (PSVita) – 9/9/9/9 (36/40)
  • One Piece: Pirate Warriors (PS3) – 9/9/9/9 (36/40)
  • One Piece: Gigant Battle 2: New World (NDS) – 8/8/9/8 (33/40)
  • One Piece: Romance Dawn (PSP) – 8/8/8/8 (32/40)
  • One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP (3DS) – 8/7/8/8 (31/40)
  • One Piece: Unlimited Cruise: Episode 1 (Wii) – 8/8/8/7 (31/40)
  • One Piece: Gigant Battle (NDS) – 8/7/8/7 (30/40)
  • One Piece: Unlimited Cruise: Episode 2 (Wii) – 7/7/7/7 (28/40)
  • One Piece: Gear Spirit (NDS) – 7/6/5/6 (24/40)
