- Three new characters: Amane Nishiki, Bullet, and Azrael
- New portraits and outfits (not 100% sure about this) for everyone
- Balances and new moves
- New weapons for Noel
- New Distortion Drive for Hazama.
- New BGM
- "Dark" Tsubaki
- among other things.

Drive names and seiyuu for the new characters if anyone really cares:
Amane - Spiral - Akira Ishida (Athrun Zala from Gundam SEED)
Bullet - Lock-on - Toa Yukinari (Casca from Berserk)
Azrael - The Terror - Hiroki Yasumoto (Asura from Asura's Wrath)

Moves and stuff:
- Jin can now use his Distortion Drive mid-air
- Bang gets a new Distortion Drive
- Ragna gets a new move that looks like Testament's Gravedigger
- Hazama gets a new move where he turns into Terumi and steps on you

Info on the new characters' Drives:

Amane's Spiral - Amane’s drive attacks turn his cloth into a drill, which he can use to attack his opponent. Heavily implied in the command list that there is a level system with it.

Bullet's Lock-On - Bullet’s drive attacks allow her to quickly rush at her opponent and grab them, provided that she is close enough to the opponent. A “heat” system is implied with the drive attacks.

Azrael's The Terror/Terra - Azrael’s drive attacks reveal weak points on the opponent when they hit the opponent.

New gameplay mechanics:

- Overdrives added, replacing Gold Barrier Bursts. Green Bursts are still there.
- Crush Trigger - Pressing A+B during certain attacks will break your opponent's guard at the cost of 25% Heat.

Overdrive details:

- It builds up over time and you activate it the same way you did Gold Bursts (A+B+C+D).
- It increases attack power and gives character-specific benefits.
- Its duration is determined by how much health you have.
- It freezes the timer when it's used.

Jin - Frost End - Attacks with Yukianesa freeze the opponent.

Noel - Chain Quasar - Her Drive moves get increased attack speed.

Rachel - Elf Lied - Her Silpheed Gauge charges faster.

Taokaka - Almost Becoming Two

Tager - Voltic Field - Opponents are instantly magnetized.

Litchi - Daisharin - Lets you move Mantenbo in any direction + D button.

Arakune - Crimson Depths - Curse meter doesn't drain when active (shit).

Bang - Furinkazan

Carl - Syncro High Speed - Strengthened Nirvana

HAWKOOMAYUN - Kishin - Magatama gauge charges faster, can cancel drive attacks into specials, but cannot use Crush Trigger.

Tsubaki - Second Install - Install Gauge automatically charges.

Hazama - Jormangund - Stronger Drive attacks, gains that annoying HP draining ring.

Makoto - Galaxian Impact – All Drive moves are Level 3.

Valkenhayn - Endlos Volf – Wolf Gauge charges much faster.

Platinum - Magical Heart Catch – Unlimited use of current item.

Relius - Maxima Dance – Ignis gauge recharges faster.

Amane - Cyclone – All Drive attacks are max level.

Bullet - Heat the Beat – Permanent “Heat Up” state while active.

Azrael - Mind Colosseo – All attacks act act as though they’d hit weak points.

I haven't played Blazblue since the first one... And I never picked the one up for PS-Vita.

You'll be pretty confused when playing through story mode, but if you don't really care for BB's story then you probably should go ahead and buy this when it comes out.

Or just wait until the Super Arcade Edition comes out who knows when.

the new characters are pretty boring imo.

Azrael - faster tager with less defensive play.
Amane - Am i playing a guy or a girl?
Bullet - Makoto without the furry factor.
From the little things i saw in the trailer anyway.

Overdrive seems pretty OP, especially since some of them sound a lot better than others.

Not sure if i want to buy this since i haven't touched blaz ever since CS2 came out...
Also, cause im expecting an "extend" version where i just get mad that i bought the 1st one to come out only to play and have to rebuy the game for some extra content.

I do care a bit of the story, but I mainly follow Ragna's storyline most of the time. (Since he is technically the main character.)

But half-way playing Jin and Noel, I decided to screw it and read it off the Wikia.

I'll see how it is when it does come out and see if I'll get it then.

Blazblue actually has good dialogue and story, but you could do without since it's still a fighting game. I wouldn't recommend getting the previous games just for the story and stuff unless it's like $5 bargain bin prices.
