Oh, there wasn't a thread of this before? I thought I learned about it from here. Whatever.
Played through the CBT1 phase. MAJOR RNG-based, there's no real planning or such behind it.
The major appeal is, of course, pretty anime girl art in the form of card game. Other than that, it's just a game you have around before you want to waste some time.
Lots of awkward features that could be done better.
The boss of the beginner dungeon is stupidly hard. The thing runs an Academy deck with his character card being -1 SIZE, meaning he takes less damage each turn on his cards and can play more each turn. His cards naturally increase their own stats.
Darklore is some weird shit, people describe them as min/max, though I don't see it.
Crux is high stats. Everywhere.
Vita will turn your cards into pansy shit.
Academy will turn their cards into strong *****es.
I think tokens, the only form of currency in the game, is cash.
You can't earn tokens in battles, only quests. Quests feel weird as hell to do. There's not even an abundance.
Don't play if you're hoping for a YGO/MTG/Pokemon(?).
I can see this game being overrun by cash users already, so I can't say it's too appealing to play...
