The newest issue of Famitsu is jam-packed with plenty of Persona-related tidbits. And for those eagerly awaiting details about Persona 5, we have some good news.
We haven't heard about the game rumored to be Persona 5 since back in 2010, but according to Japanese blog Andriasang, Atlus is indeed hard at work on the game.
The only details that were revealed was that the series' director, character designer and composer have all returned, though little else is currently known, including platforms. With an edited version of Persona 4 coming to Vita, however, a safe bet for Persona 5 is a PlayStation platform, whether it be PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita or both. We'll update with any firm news, including platforms, as further information breaks.

Persona 4: The Golden
- There will be a new character named Marie.
- New movies, opening, etc.
- Will have P3FES feature--call friends in the dungeon.
- There will be another new feature, but will later announce.
- Out in Japan at Spring 2012.
- Originally for PSP, but Hashino feels that the features won't be enough there, so it moves to PSVita.
Persona 4: The Ultimate Mayonaka Area
- The one who work this will be Arc System Works a.k.a the one who developed BlazBlue.
- This game is the continuation of Persona 4 story, takes place 2 months after.
- The one who resemble the tournament is Teddie!
- Not only Persona 4 characters who fight, Persona 3 characters included too!
- It'll be in XBOX360 and PS3, the Japanese arcades out in Spring 2012, but the xbox an ps3 will out in Summer.
- the one who compose the music will be Shoji Meguro, the director still Hashino.

But really. I can't even think that ATLUS will corporate with Arc System Works ... And make a fighting game. Not good ATLUS, you're making a surprise by 3 games at once.

looks like they are trying to milk as much out of P4 as possible. even P3 wasn't milked as much as this.....
i really hope they get back to darker stories more, like devil survivor and strange journey. P3 & P4 were pretty fun with the combat style system, but it would've been so much more interesting if everything wasn't on sparkles and rainbows where everything turns out OK.
