Tofu anyone?

I wish tofu has a real taste XD
I've eaten tasty tofu in a sushi bar. Best tofu ever lol
beside that it's just another meal

I've tried Miso soup Duke, I just don't like that at all. It's just ich. I think it tastes too bland. But it has been a while since I've tasted it, so I can't remember it 100%.

^Dear lord, this is heaven, especially if you add in a little minced-meat sprinkle, or perhaps stuff the tofu with meat.

Everytime I eat at Japanese restaurants, I invariably get served a bowl of Miso soup, and I've never enjoyed it either. The tangy flavour is not very agreeable to my palate :/

Actually, I just had some dessert tofu just last night. Coconut flavored.
It tasted pretty good, actually. I'm not a big fan of the texture, though, since it feels like a less-creamy flan, and I like my flan nice and creamy. Needless to say, the flavor went really nice with the hunt of soy at the end.

The butter is for flavoring. Trust me, when done right, it's awesome.

Actually it's not as greasy as you think. It's just a tiny cube of butter used to coat the pan, and then you toss in your tofu cubes together with finely chopped herbs. It's actually pretty tasty.

When I fry my tofu though, I usually marinate it with spices and herbs, and then deep fry in oil

I don't trust the words of a man who eats tofu with... cheese.

The only types of tofu I eat are either fermented, fresh, or stir fried with hot sauce (for lack of better English translation for the sauce).

It's cottage, not cheddar cheese lol. Big difference >_> Be more adventurous with your tofu!

But yeah, I generally have it stir-fried or steamed in a soup.
