Skill Points and Changing to Technical

Guys need some clarifications once and for all XD about skill points and technical changing..
Heres what i know so far : ( pls correct any mistakes and add additional info..)

1st Job Skill Points Quests :
-Total of 21 points (so a job 50 char will have 71 skill points for the 1st job)
-1st job Skill Points Quests can be done even when ur 2-1 or 2-2
-but 1st job skill points can only be used for 1st job skills
-can be kept unused even if u changed jobs

2nd job Skill Points Quests :
-Total of 11 points?
-can only be used for 2nd job skills (ur current only?)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok now on changing from 2-1 to 2-2 (vice versa), this is where im totaly unsure >.<

Changing 2-1 to 2-2 has job penalty right, and has a limit to how many skills u can transfer.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so what happens if like i change from 2-1 to 2-2 if for example im..

-A Job 40 2-1 char
-with 6 skills learned, and 3 pts unused
-5 skill pts came from 2nd job quests

? what will happen to the skills, points, job lvl?
? some say the job reduction will only apply when i come back to that job..
? what about my j40 skill i learned if i come back 2-1 as job 24 (6 penalty)?
? what about the 5 skill pts from the quest? is that 5 pts can only be used on 2-1 and never on 2-2?

guys please share what you know by personal experience.. so everyone who wants to ask can get correct answers... tnx

Job 40 Expert switching to Technical Job will have to start at Lv. 1 Technical if it's your first time switching to Technical Job.

If you already LEVELLED up your Technical Job, for example if you're Lv. 40 Technical switching back to Expert, you will lose 8 job points because the level loss is level/5 (unless you have memory hourglasses). The penalty applies once you switch back to that job, not when you change jobs.

When switching to your Technical Job, you get to keep four skills from your Expert job repertoire. When you switch back to your Expert Job from your Technical Job, you will be at Lv. 32 Expert Job (40/5 = 8) and you will have to reassign your skill points again.

Any skill points obtained from SP Quests to your Expert/Technical job will not be erased.

Only 3 SP Quests for Expert/Technical are currently available.

You will not have access to your Lv. 40 Expert skill anymore when you switch back because, quite obviously, you're down to being a Lv. 32 Expert.

A reset that costs 100k and makes you lose 1/5 of your original job level.

from what have explained above i understand about the penalty applied.

how about Memory Hourglass functioning?
according to the scenario above. how many i need it so i wont loses any level.

You would need 8 hourglasses, 1 for each level lost.
