Saving Skill Points during Job Change?
 

Is it possible to save your skill points until after job change? Not just after becoming 2nd job, but 1st job as well.

Like, if some random person becomes level 50 as a Novice and changes into a Shaman for example. Would he get the 49 extra skill points he got from leveling his job level prior to job changing, or would it be reset?

lol That's a hax thought although if you were by yourself that would be hard to do.

I did it all the time in a Ragnarok Online Private Server, I'm just not sure if I'll be capable of doing it right now when I make a new character. :D

Isn't that pointless, because Novice and First job share the same skill points? For example, when you jobchange to Vates at Novice job 10, you'd just become Vates job 10. :x

I thought it would be like, get to jlvl 10 as novice, 1st jobchange, jlbl gets reset back to 1 but you get an extra free 10 pts as a novice? D:

@Shnao - the only time your joblevel gets resetted to 1 is when you swap to second job, or when you swap to Technical 2nd job.

So, I just finished a sp quest for my technical 2nd job. Just wondering if I screwed myself by doing it too early. I'm still on 1st job.

If the option to give the skill point reward to either Expert or Technical job came up, then it's all good. If not, then you just screwed yourself over.
