Regarding Upgrading items

Hey guys,
i have been reading that failing an upgrade u lose the item. My question is this, if u fail. Does the item disappear from yr inventory or does it become "Broken" in your inventory?

I vote it'll disappear.
"Broken" is an item with 0 durability.

Disappear. The "fix" that leaves them broken is, from what I recall, Saga 6 onwards.
