Regarding job skills and skill reset

Got a few questions regarding job skills here need some advice.

E.g I'm a wiz now and i'm gonna be changing to a sorc. I did not learn magic shock when i was a wiz. If i were to reset my skills when i'm a sorc do i get to choose to learn energy shock as well as all the other skills i didnt learn during a wiz?

No, you can only level-up/learn the skills your learned during your first job.

Regarding job skill points during class change.

E.g I learned hp mastery when i was a farmer till lvl 1.
I changed to an alchem and leveled the skill to lvl 5.
when i change to a marionettist would the hp mastery be at lvl 5? or will it revert back to lvl 1? since we're only allowed to bring over 5 skills from alche -> mari if i lvl the hp mastery to lvl 5 would hp mastery count as 1 of the 5skills i can bring over?



Confirmed information regarding this would help a lot.

It's still a first class skill, so you don't have to bring it over. It doesn't matter when you leveled it up, since the first job points are separate anyways.

cool so it's like if i'm planning to go from alchem - mari and sticking to it, i jus have to choose 5 alchem skills i wanna keep and den the rest of the points can go into the farmer skills.

Not quite. The skill points you gain in your first job are separate from the ones you gain in your second job. This means the points you gain from alchemist job levels can only be used on alchemist skills.

So I get that it is separate skill points for the jobs, but do I always have option to learn more first job skills? Say I change my job at 50, go back and get all extra 21? 1st job skill points. Or do I have to use all my points before my job change?

You can add them whenever you want, so no worries there.
