In case anyone is curious, if you take the appearance from an item that has already been fused, it will take the un-natural appearance.

ex: I made a butler looking lv35 fencer armor. Then I used that as the appearance with the lv55 fencer armor, and it has the appearance of the butler outfit again.

Just did my first synthesis. 55 Vate armor-->meedo. Worked~ However, it was ~80k for me, not 20k. I tried it again with 65 vate head-->frilled headband. This time it was ~66K. cost is dependent on what exactly? the lvl req for equip?
