1: Chung Seiker: Guardian of Hamel

1.1 Who is Chung Seiker?

Members of the Seiker family are known protectors of Hamel City, the capital of Senace Kingdom. It is to this name that Chung was born. Widely known as Prince Seiker, Chung was trained for combat from his early years. When Senace Kingdom came under attack, his father devoted himself to defending it. Unfortunately, the demon possessed him, causing him to lose all control of his own body, and the noble fighter unwittingly came to lead the enemies to attack Hamel. The Prince tried to hold his father to try and stop him, but got seriously wounded by him.

With the help of Elsword and his friends, Chung escapes the battlefield and is on the way to recovering from his wounds. Meanwhile, most parts of Senace are now occupied by the demons. He then decides to leave Hamel to the Red Knights and go with Elsword to train and become stronger than ever. He swears to himself that he will not use the Seiker name and will call himself Chung until he returns to save Hamel and take the Water El back from the demons.

Chung looks weak, even compared to Eve, and is often mistaken as a girl. But Chung has the strength and power to easily wield his cannon skillfully as it were a feather. If his enemy is too far from him, Chung also has a unique trait to him different from others, as he uses "ammo" which can be fired from his cannon after reloading. He can also "transform" into a special armor in awakening mode which gives him infinite ammo.

1.2 Basic Attacks and Sequences

You must first know that Z and X are the basic keys for every character. For Chung, Z attacks are continuous strikes and pummels with his Destroyer. X attacks are also close-up cannon strikes, however, they can be chained to loading a powerful cannonball to fire at the enemy.

Z - A quick swing to the left.
ZZ - A quick swing left then right.
ZZZ - Three quick swings. Easily canceled by walking or dashing, leading to easy combo chaining.
ZZZZ - Three quick swings followed by a powerful swing that knocks the enemy away.

ZZZX - Three swings, then take aim and fire all cannonballs at the enemy in front.

ZZvZ - Two quick swings, then slam the enemy with the Destroyer in a vertical fashion, knocking the enemy up and also reloading a cannonball.
ZZvZZ Two quick swings, then slam the enemy with the Destroyer to load a cannonball, then follow with another swing that knocks the enemy away.

X - Swing the Destroyer downward.
XX - Swing then flip the Destroyer to strike again, reloading a cannonball.
XXX - Swing twice and then use the loaded cannonball to shoot at the enemy.

XXZ - Swing twice, then charge with the Destroyer and drag the enemy.
XXZX - Swing twice, charge forward, then fire all loaded cannonballs at the enemy.

>>Z - Dash forward and swing upward, knocking the enemy up and away.
>>X - Dash past the enemy and deal an initial hit with the Destroyer, then fire a cannonball that knocks down.

^Z - Jump and swing downwards.
^X - Jump and swing while spinning.

>>^ZZ - Dash and jump to do a cannon strike, then slam the enemy down and detonate a cannonball.

>>^X - Dash and blast the enemy below with a cannonball to knock it down while also propelling yourself upwards. Can follow up with a basic air swing of Z or X.

>>^v - Dash and jump, then crash down to knock up all nearby enemies.

1.3 Ammunition and Berserk Mode

When playing in dungeons or PvP, have you ever noticed the little blue bar under your health and mana bar, right next to your skill slots? That little thing is a vital tool for Chung. It is his ammunition supply.

Ammunition, Ammo, Cannonballs, probably the most notable and interesting aspect of Chung is his Ammunition Supply. Nearly all of Chung's skills rely on his ammo. Skills such as Detonation or Lunatic Blow can use up all of Chung's ammunition, but at a good price, considering that the amount of power for these skills, is multiplied by how many cannonballs Chung currently has. Other skills such as Aiming Shot or Steel Edge uses only one. Some skills though, like Iron Howling or Dual Buster don't use any ammunition at all. But that doesn't necessarily mean they're bad, they're for other situations. In fact, skills aren't the only things that uses up Chung's ammo, many of his X attacks use them too! In order to reload for your ammo, just stand still, and Chung will set down his cannon and quickly add more cannonballs. You can also reload by using certain moves. It should also be known that Shooting Guardian has a very useful passive that will double his ammunition count. If you do not have any ammunition, you will not be able to use any skills that require cannonballs. Therefore, it should be heavily recommended that you always carry at least 1 or 2 rounds of ammunition just in case at all times.

Berserk Mode

Like all characters, Chung also has his own Awakening Beads. But his awakening function sets him apart. His 3rd awakening bead at first glance, looks like its locked, with chains covering it. The way to unlock it is just like unlocking other awakening beads, getting enough hits. The main reason it looks different is to show you that your Berserk Mode is ready and fully functional. It should be known, however, that Chung cannot reach his Berserk Mode if he has 2 or less beads filled. Having 2 or less beads filled will only have him reach a normal awakening mode just like the other characters, with the exception of his armor and ammunition supply.

When activating awakening with all 3 beads filled, you will see that Chung gains a helm. This is proof that Berserk Mode is activated. In Berserk Mode, not only does Chung gain a slight boost in his attack strength and skills, but more importantly, Chung gains Unlimited Ammunition. This means that he has limitless ammo. Skills that normally use one or two, or even all your cannonball supply don't effect your ammunition count. Therefore, you can spam all of your powerful skills that require cannonballs, but just be sure to keep an eye on your mana. However, it is wise to use his Awakening Mode only at desperate times or when getting prepared for a boss battle. It will take a while for you to achieve Chung's Berserk Mode again, and his form only lasts for 90 seconds without any awakening time modifiers.

1.4 The Guardian's Skills

What are Skills? Skills are attacks that enhance your character's game play. For Chung, he pummels his enemies to nothing with his weapon, the Destroyer, or, he fires loaded cannonballs that create devastating explosions.

Note there are different types of skills: Active, Special Active, Passive, and Buff skills.

Active - Skills that happen immediately unless canceled by a hit. Active skills are added to the quick slots.

Special Active - Skills that are just like Actives, but the game of Elsword adds the extreme epic to these kinds of skills. The character performs a special skill that will shortly freeze the area. During this, a cut in art of the character slides in while he/she shouts out the skill names. Then, the skill is performed. Very fun.

Passive - Skills that upgrade the character, permanently. Passive skills are never added to quick slots.

Buffs - Buffs are skills that upgrade the character, such as physical attack, magic attack, and defense. They are like passives, however, they are not permanent as they are used in the quick slots. Because they are used in the quick slots, they provide more efficiency to the power up, however they cost MP and are timed.

Now, please remember the following terms:

PvE - This term is used for mainly if you are to dungeon a lot. If you like to do lots of dungeon rather than PvP, then you are a PvE build.

PvP - This term is obvious, but just in case, this term is used for mainly if you prefer to PvP than do dungeons.

Hybrid - This term is a combination of both PvE and PvP.

It will be stated the number of SP that must be invested required to access the next row. I will be sequentially stating each skill by where it is in the row. As for skill recommendations, I'll be stating how many points you should invest into skills by dividing into builds. It is RECOMMENDED, not a must (well, except a few). However, there will be times when you have the choice to pick what skills to put points in, because of the SP investment limit.

If you are having trouble memorizing your path of skill investment, fear not. There is a Skill Simulator for all characters. Click the following link to head to Chung's SG and DC skill tree.

Skill Simulator SG/DC

All right, let's start!

(0) Row 1:

Basic Physical Defense Training - Increase base physical defense.
Basic knowledge of the skill tree is to never skip your passives.
PvE - 5/5
PvP - 5/5
Hybrid - 5/5

Brutal Swing - Dash forward and push the target, then brutally swing, knocking the target away with the Destroyer.
Chung's starter skill, and it looks powerful because the force of the swing feels 'brutal', as the name implies. However, even at max level, this is a very weak skill and not worth getting.
PvE - 1/5
PvP - 1/5
Hybrid - 1/5

Reload - Swing the Destroyer upward and reload a cannonball.
This is a good skill to have. The upward swing does nice damage, so it adds to your combos while also reloading a cannonball.
*Skill Note: Opportunity Chance - Grant a 50% chance to reload an extra cannonball. -Obtained from a rare monster drop.
Get if you love using Reload.
PvE - 1/1
PvP - 1/1
Hybrid - 1/1

(5) Row 2:

Basic Magic Defense Training - Increase base magic defense.
Basic knowledge of skill tree is to never skip your passives.
PvE - 5/5
PvP - 5/5
Hybrid - 5/5

Scare Chase - Slam the Destroyer down to reload a cannonball, then use it to fire a missile that targets the nearest enemy, dealing an initial hit and exploding.
A simple skill that is also powerful at the same time. This skill is also useful for flying enemies, like the wyverns in Velder. You don't even need to have a cannonball ready, because you automatically reload one in the skill and just use it. With that, the missile is nearly inescapable. It locks onto a target like Magic Missile and will loop around them if they use awakening or skill delay. Remember, I said it's nearly inescapable, so chances are they have the chance to run away before the missile disappears. An optional skill to have or to replace Lunatic Blow if you wish.
*Skill Note: Wide Explosion - Increase the blast radius by 50%. -Obtained from a rare monster drop.
Nice to have, but situational. You may never know if your enemies will be far apart or bundled together.
PvE - 0/5 or 5/5
PvP - 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid - 0/5 or 5/5

(10) Row 3:

Basic Strength Training - Increase base physical attack. Prerequisite: Basic Physical Defense Training
Basic knowledge of skill tree is to...you know.
PvE - 5/5
PvP - 5/5
Hybrid - 5/5

Lunatic Blow - Use all loaded cannonballs to pummel and blast the enemy at the same time, dealing a more powerful blast with the last cannonball.
Oh this skill, it's so powerful that you should get this. This is one of Chung's best skills for his low level. It's great on all enemy sizes and best on grouped mobs. Remember that you use all of your loaded cannonballs into this skill (maximum of 6 cannonballs used if you somehow have more, later...), so have as much cannonballs as you can do make this skill deal its full potential. Also, if used in PvP, opponents cannot mana break. It's an option to take; you also have Scare Chase as an option, but this skill is most recommended to take for beginners who want to deal damage with simple aiming. Experienced players will find a better skill in the future that also costs 200 MP but does much more damage.
PvE - 0/5 or 5/5
PvP - 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid - 0/5 or 5/5

(15) Row 4:

Basic Magic Training - Increase magic attack damage. Prerequisite: Basic Magic Defense Training
You should know what to do here. You should be getting this passive anyway.
PvE - 5/5
PvP - 5/5
Hybrid - 5/5

(20) Row 5:

Shield Accelerator - Increase the defense of allies in range and yourself.
Defense boost is okay. Get it if you want, I don't recommend it.
PvE - 0/3
PvP - 0/3
Hybrid - 0/3

Detonation - Bring the Destroyer forward to hit enemies in front, then fire all loaded cannonballs. Prerequisite: Mastered Scare Chase
A decent skill that costs 100 MP; at Lv5 deals 200% physical damage for the forward hit and dealing up to 2233% magic damage at the maximum of 6 cannonballs. Using all the cannonballs, Detonation is one of the strongest 100 MP skills in the game. This is good to have because you'll want a 100 MP skill around that does this insane amount of damage (usually, 100 MP skills go for 900% ~ 1500%). Though, you may feel cautious of wanting to save cannonballs because Detonation's full power requires 6 cannonballs, and right now your max is 6 cannonballs. Well, as a Shooting Guardian, you don't have to worry about that, because you get a skill that increases your cannonball capacity to 12. So, an optional skill to have, recommended to take if you can spare the points.
*Skill Note: Finished Modifications - Increase damage by 25% and reduce cannonball consumption by 1. -Obtained from a rare monster drop.
Further increases Detonation's damage, highly recommended for lovers of this skill.
PvE - 0/5 or 5/5
PvP - 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid - 0/5 or 5/5

(25) Row 6:

Power Accelerator - Increase physical attack power for a certain duration.
An okay buff. You are likely not getting this because you're going to be Shooting Guardian and Deadly Chaser later, where at least all skills will be dealing magic damage. Only best if you want to be ZZZ'ing all the time as base level or if you want a skill with delay.
PvE - 0/3 ~ 3/3
PvP - 0/3 ~ 3/3
Hybrid - 0/3 ~ 3/3

Magic Accelerator - Increase magic attack power for a certain duration.
This buff is great to have around. If you're going to get a buff, get this one.
PvE - 0/3 ~ 3/3
PvP - 0/3 ~ 3/3
Hybrid - 0/3 ~ 3/3

Reload Mastery - Increase the physical attack power of Reload and the amount of cannonballs that can be loaded.
A useful passive that increases the damage of Reload and at Lv4 and higher, reloads 2 cannonballs instead of 1. A must max for frequent users of Reload.
PvE - 0/5 or 5/5
PvP - 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid - 0/5 or 5/5

(30) Row 7:

Gigantic Impact - Jump up and rocket forward, crashing onto enemies while creating a shockwave.
This skills power surpasses that of Code Architecture's Heaven's Fist, so it's really nice. However, because of its power, it requires aiming. The skill's aiming is somewhat tricky; if you use it at the wrong spot, it'll be a waste of 300 MP. Decent in PvE, as it only works best for mobs. However, in PvP, you deal -amazing- damage.
PvE - 0/5
PvP - 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid - 0/5

Aceldama - Fire missiles into the sky that rains down on enemies.
You could say this is Chung's version of Sniping Ranger's Gungnir, so yes, it does great damage, and is especially best on wide-sized bosses. As you level the skill, the damage increases and the number of missiles launched are increased. Highly recommended to have this skill.
PvE - 5/5
PvP - 5/5
Hybrid - 5/5

(35) Row 8:

Aiming Shot - Take quick aim and fire a cannonball at the closest enemy.
At the cost of 1 cannonball, it does decent damage at the closest enemy. It's quick and easy to aim as well, you do not need to align yourself with the enemy, you will shoot at the enemy high (at a limit) or low automatically. This is a fun skill to have, and even more amazing with its skill note. Though, it has better uses in PvP rather than dungeons, however it's still a good skill. It causes knockdown, though, so it's best to use for running opponents or as a finisher. Optional to get.
*Skill Note: Property Bullet - Triple the chance of your elemental attribute to activate when using Aiming Shot. -Obtained from Camilla, the PvP NPC.
Recommended to have if you like using this skill. It's fun; having Water III to slow down your enemy so they won't escape well, or Plague III to drain your enemy's HP and MP at a distance. Choose your elements wisely.
PvE - 0/5 or 5/5
PvP - 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid - 0/5 or 5/5

---

And that's all of Chung's beginner job skills. When you've reached Level 15, you can begin the job advancement pre-quest:

1. Collect a drop from William Phoru at 2-4 on any difficulty.
2. Talk to Lenphad in Elder.
3. Defeat William Phoru at 2-4 on Hard or higher.
4. Clear 2-4 on Very Hard with a B rank or higher.

And after that, you have two quests to choose from: Fury Guardian and Shooting Guardian, obviously you should have chosen Shooting Guardian.

1. Clear 2-5 on any difficulty without being hit more than 30 times.
2. Talk to Ruichel, the accessory shop girl, in Elder.
3. Collect 14 drops from the crossbowmen and 14 drops from the soldiers at 2-5 on Hard mode.
4. Clear 2-5 on Very Hard mode within 15 minutes.

After you have finished, you are now a Shooting Guardian, a guardian form that uses a new weapon, the Silver Shooter!

2: Chung Seiker, the Shooting Guardian

2.1 The Shooting Guardian

While traveling, Chung realized the shortcomings of the Destroyer's slow speed and how open he is to attacks while he himself attacks. As a result, he lightens his cannon and manufactures a second weapon to cover himself should he be open to attacks.
This second weapon is called the "Silver Shooter". The Silver Shooter is enchanted with magic and can shoot through any target. As a result, the openings that the Destroyers offer when Chung attacks, makes the Silver Shooter a perfect compliment to battle enemies with speed.

2.2 Additional Basic Attacks

While you gain a job advancement, you also get extra attack sequences that will improve game play as well as extend the variety of combos.

Note that these sequences are of course, Shooting Guardian exclusive.

>>^XX - Dash, jump and rocket into the air with the Destroyer, then follow up by rapidly firing with the Silver Shooter.

XZZ - Strike the enemy with the Destroyer, then follow with two shots of the Silver Shooter, and finish with a cannon blast using the Destroyer.

>>XXX - Dash past the enemy, fire twice with the Silver Shooter, then finish with a cannon blast using the Destroyer.

*You are to be warned that while all these new basic attacks look fun, you are going to lose MP fast if you spam Silver Shooter attacks. As a Shooting Guardian (and in the future, Deadly Chaser), mana management is highly important.

*Also, please note while these combos seem like an improvement, you will actually be using your base job combos 75% of the time as a SG/DC.

2.3 Shooting Guardian's Skills

With the job advancement, Chung now accesses many skills involving heavy arsenal attacks from the Destroyer, or quick shots with the Silver Shooter. With a new weapon in combination of your first weapon, you are sure to deliver unbelievable, quick attacks.

You will also now see a few skill names with (LOCKED) beside them. This means you cannot access the skill until you do certain skill quests.

(40) Row 9:

Rumble Shot (LOCKED) - Fire out a pulsating cannonball, which pushes and damages monsters up to seven times.
This skill is a close-range dragging cannonball, so this is a nice skill to use during combo attacks. If you're fast enough, you'll combo after it too. You could follow with Z attacks or do your newly gained >>XXX combo. It deals 100% of magic attack damage per hit, and there's at max 7 hits, so it's great skill to keep around. It proves its greatness on small mobs in PvE, or single targets in any situation.
*Skill Note: Improved Explosion(?) - No MP is consumed, but 2 cannonballs will be consumed. Time of explosions will increase. -Obtained from Cash Shop
A very nice skill note. You deal more damage, no MP is needed at all too, but this will need you to be dependent on your cannonball capacity. Be sure to keep watch of your ammunition or else this skill goes to waste.
PvE: 5/5
PvP: 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid: 0/5 or 5/5

**To unlock Rumble Shot, you must do the Low Branch skill quest, available at Lv20.
---
Quest 1: You need to buy a low quality scroll (It can be bought from Camilla/PvP Girl for 20k ED)

Quest 2: Collect 2 claws from the Scorpion King in 3-1 on Very Hard difficulty.

Quest 3: Collect 20 necklaces from any Lizard in Bethma (It can be anywhere from 3-1 to 3-4. I recommend 3-3.)

Quest 4: Collect 30 necklaces from the Glitter Race in Feita. (First three maps of Feita are good).

Quest 5: Collect a scroll drop from the boss on map 3-4 in Hard or Above (completely random)
---

Dual Buster - Quickly roll past the enemy while firing two shots with the Silver Shooter.
This skill may feel weak, but it is very useful. While it may not seem like a PvE skill, it's more of a combo skill or a get-out-of-there skill. If you're fast enough, you can combo after this skill, or quickly get away from the other opponent. And in case the other players go for you, you shoot at them! It's really helpful. If you feel you can live without Dual Buster until later, then you can skip it for now.
*Skill Note: Noir Action - Pierces up to 2 more targets and reloads one cannonball. -Obtained from Cash Shop
This skill note is amazing for lovers of Dual Buster. It makes it even more useful in dungeons because of the pierce effect. Not only do you get to deal damage to extra targets in the way, but you get a free cannonball as well. Think of it as Reload on some steroids.
PvE: 0/5 or 5/5
PvP: 5/5
Hybrid: 0/5 or 5/5

(45) Row 10:

Remodel Magazine - Increase the capacity of cannonballs that the Destroyer can hold.
Do not question this passive. More cannonballs? Oh, definitely worth it, especially when it comes to skill spamming. A must max.
If you manage your cannonballs well (which is somewhat a rare case unless your enemies stink at hitting you), and if you think you live well without skill spamming, then you don't have to take this. But you'll miss out on the future Remodel Rifle passive.
PvE: 5/5
PvP: 5/5
Hybrid: 5/5

Intermediate Magical Training - Increases magic damage permanently.
Another magic damage passive. For you to take this, you'll probably get it when you're in your late Lv40s or Lv50s, unless you skipped Remodel Magazine (which is a bad choice). This is of course, a useful passive, and it is needed to get the Magic Adrenaline skill. Though, I only recommend maxing this once you reach late Lv40s or in the Lv50s.
PvE: 5/5
PvP: 5/5
Hybrid: 5/5

(50) Row 11:

Remodel Rifle - Modify your various weapons and enhance their capabilities. Prerequisite: Mastered Remodel Magazine
This passive increases the range and critical damage (not chance) that you deal with the Silver Shooter. This passive is great for critical damage lovers. Even if you're not a critical lover, you would still want this skill because you'll get enhanced range, which is very useful if you want to hit your enemies from a farther distance.
PvE: 5/5
PvP: 5/5
Hybrid: 5/5

Head Shot - Take aim with the Silver Shooter and fire a piercing bullet that hits up to 3 enemies.
This skill is quick and also very damaging. It serves a small mob purpose like Rumble Shot, dealing a single hit up to 3 monsters, but in PvP, it adds to the fun in combos. Best only for PvP. I want to recommend you to max this as soon as possible, but you need your passives first. You may max this when you are in your late level 40s or 50s.
*Skill Note: The REAL Head Shot - Grant a 30% chance to deal double the damage. -Obtained from a rare monster drop.
This further increases the damage Head Shot can do, which is at maximum, 660%, and that is very high. Only take if you love spamming Head Shot all the time.
PvE: 0/5 or 5/5
PvP: 5/5
Hybrid: 0/5 or 5/5

(55) Row 12:

Magic Adrenaline - Increase magic damage by a certain percentage for 10 seconds. Prerequisite: Mastered Intermediate Magic Training
This skill starts out at 30% in Lv1, increasing up to 50% increase at Lv5. Like Int. Magic Training, you're probably only getting this until your late levels. When you finally get this buff, begin getting used to combining this with Comet Crasher.
PvE: 5/5
PvP: 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid: 0/5 or 5/5

Comet Crasher (LOCKED) - Shoot the Destroyer 135 degrees downwards in midair, bombarding the area with cannonballs. Requires minimum of 3 cannonballs, using up to a maximum of 6.
This skill is what makes the Shooting Guardian so deadly...chaser. Oh, what a bad joke. Anyways, while you have to keep track of your cannonballs (not a deal if you have Remodel Magazine), Comet Crasher does SUPERB damage to single targets, mobs, and bosses of all sizes. At Lv5, using 6 cannonballs, with a maximum of 12 hits, you deal 650% per hit, with the final two hits being 1300%. If you somehow get all hits in, you're dealing 9100%! That's higher than most 300 MP skills. You MUST max this skill, no further questions.
Oh, don't forget to combine this with Magic Adrenaline when you get it.
PvE: 5/5
PvP: 5/5
Hybrid: 5/5

**To unlock Comet Crasher, you must do the Intermediate Branch skill quest, available at Lv30.
---
Quest 1: Buy the Intermediate Quality scroll (It costs 100k ED from Camilla/PVP girl)

Quest 2: Collect 10 Black Crow Journals from Altera (4-1 is strongly recommended.)

Quest 3: Collect 1 drop, another 1 drop and a collection of 50 chests from map 4-2. (This can take a LOT of runs to complete. The single drops have a very low drop rate so chances are you'll be grinding for a while.)

Quest 4: Collect 2 Dark Spirits from the boss in the third map of Feita (3X-3), Collect 4 wood from the boss in the fourth map of Feita (3X-4).

Quest 5: Achieve B Rank or higher in maps 4-1, 4-2 and 4-3 in Hard difficulty or higher. (This means do all 3.)
---

Heavy Railgun - Load the Destroyer and fire a super fast cannonball that pierces through all targets in a linear fashion and explodes.
This skill is fine as well. It does a great amount of damage if used correctly, either with lined opponents or closely grouped mobs, as this skill does stacked damage (similar to a group of enemies afflicted with Aisha's Death Field or enemies attacked by Raven's Hypersonic Stab). Optional to max, though Comet Crasher is a better skill.
***Currently, Heavy Railgun is a prerequisite for Shooting Star. In future patches, this prerequisite may be changed. If not, then this skill is a need if the prerequisite for Bullet Blitz is Shooting Star.
*Skill Note: Auto-Induction(?) - Reduce the cannonball speed by 33%, and the explosion will launch the targets upwards. -Obtained from Cash Shop.
The skill note reduces the range slightly (due to speed decrease) and launch all targets within the explosion upwards. This makes Heavy Railgun lean toward some combo purpose. I don't know if it's possible to use a Silver Shooter attack like Head Shot or what after the target is in the air. I don't know if you'll be quick enough to even hit. Regardless, why bother comboing after Heavy Railgun? The best use for it is in dungeons.
PvE: 0/5 or 5/5
PvP: 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid: 0/5 or 5/5

(60) Row 13:

Tussle Technique - Improve your overall skill in handling different weapons at the same time.
This passive is a must. It decreases your knockdown rate and increase attack speed! Ever notice how attack speed is so important? It is. Though, at Lv5, you only increase it by 3%, but that's still a lot and worth it. Hey, you might even get 23% attack speed if all your gear adds up to 20%. Anyways, this is a must max passive, not only for its usefulness, but as a prerequisite for a future Deadly Chaser passive.
PvE: 5/5
PvP: 5/5
Hybrid: 5/5

(65) Row 14:

Sharpshooter Syndrome (LOCKED) - Point the Silver Shooter up in the air and fires, releasing an aura of silver energy that encompasses a certain radius. Grant increased accuracy and critical hit chances to yourself and all party members in range.
This skill, overall, provides a 20% boost in your hit chances at Lv5. If you're a critical lover, you might want this skill. And if you think you're low on accuracy, you may also want this skill. This will greatly help party members in dungeons, and perhaps in team PvP. In terms of damage, a Lv5 SS deals 426% per hit up to 4 hits, depending on how close you are to a monster. This would be a little less than Elsword's Armageddon Blade strike, however it does nice, quick damage while giving you (and party members) a buff. Only take if you really want this skill for its critical chance (and accuracy) increase.
PvE: 0/5 or 5/5
PvP: 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid: 0/5 or 5/5

**To unlock Sharpshooter Syndrome, you must do the High Branch skill quest.
---
Quest 1: Buy the High Quality scroll (It costs 140k ED from Camilla, aka the PVP girl)

Quest 2: Collect 50 emblems from enemies in 4-3.

Quest 3: Collect 2 generators (red) and 2 generators (blue) from each boss in 4-4. If they respawn, they will not drop the items. You must repeat the dungeon.

Quest 4: Collect 3 drops from 4-3 boss.

Quest 5: Clear 4-4 in 8 mins, Clear 3x-4 in 8 mins, and Clear 3x-3 in 9 mins.
---

Shooting Star - Launch 12 guided missiles from your cannon that explode upon impact.
A nice 300 MP skill that is only best used for room-clearing. All missiles randomly target a monster within the map, like an Aisha's Magic Missile, hitting them for 34% physical damage on hit, the explosion dealing 385% magic damage at Lv5. It may seem all that great, but even Comet Crasher can surpass this skill's damage. The only reason you must max this skill so that you can get the future Bullet Blitz skill.
PvE: 5/5
PvP: 5/5
Hybrid: 5/5

---

That's all of the skills the Shooting Guardian has access to. After reaching Level 35, you can begin your second job advancement, to become the agile Deadly Chaser.

1. Speak with Lento in Feita.
2. Eliminate 20 Mana Eaters in the Underground Chapel on Very Hard mode.
3. Defeat 12 Plant Overlords in the Underground Garden on Hard mode or higher.
4. Speak with Hanna, the blacksmith, in Velder
5. Collect 10 drops from the Dark Elves, 10 drops from the Blood Eaters, and 10 drops from any Arc Glitters in Velder. (Hope Bridge Very Hard is recommended.)

After finishing the long quest, you are now the Deadly Chaser, the tracker of death!

3: Chung Seiker, the Deadly Chaser

3.1 The Tracker of Death: Deadly Chaser

After compiling the strengths of both the Silver Shooter and the Destroyer, Chung succeeds in forming two Silver Shooters. This results in Chung able to use his Silver Shooters more conveniently at any time with his new plethora of skills also being able to both disable the opponent while attacking from a suitable distance.

The powerful bullets launched from the pair of Silver Shooters overwhelm their enemies and diminish their morale even before they sense Chung's presence. When opponents see the light ahead, they quickly find themselves looking up at the sky. This new method of fighting gave Chung the image of an "Assassin" rather than a "Guardian". From then on, people began to call Chung -- the tracker of death, the one who can hide even his shadow, the Deadly Chaser!

3.2 Additional Basic Attacks

While you gain a job advancement, you also get extra attack sequences that will improve game play as well as extend the variety of combos.

Note that these sequences are of course, Deadly Chaser exclusive.

X - Pull out a Silver Shooter to shoot once.
*Replaces pummel strikes with the Destroyer.
**XZZ is also changed, where Chung shoots three more shots and then finish with a cannon blast.

ZZXXX - Strike the enemy upwards and fire a barrage of bullets with the Silver Shooters, ending with a missile from the Destroyer.

Don't forget, mana management is highly important.

3.3 Deadly Chaser's Skills

As the Deadly Chaser, Chung now accesses a few more skills that bring out the intensity of his pair of Silver Shooters. A couple are quick, inescapable bullets, while another can be a heavy rain of artillery.

You will also still see one more skill that is (LOCKED). So yeah, prepare to do the skill quest.

(70) Row 15

Accurate Marksmanship - Increase accuracy and overall skill with the Silver Shooters and the Destroyer's cannonballs. Prerequisite: Tussle Technique
Also a must max because you get free +10% accuracy at max level, which automatically add to sockets regardless of how much you have, along with increased mana gain of 9%. This should decrease your worry for mana management, but only if your bullets hit the enemy.
PvE - 5/5
PvP - 5/5
Hybrid - 5/5

Bullet Blitz - Pull out a Silver Shooter to fire a quick bullet that homes in on enemies and ricochets to other nearby enemies. Prerequisite: Mastered Shooting Star
A very nice starter skill. Costing 120 MP than the usual 100, it homes in on nearby enemies automatically and quickly. It can take care of grouped mobs easily if the bullet doesn't bounce to a random enemy somewhere farther. In PvP, you can combo after it is used, since it doesn't knockdown them. Max as soon as possible.
PvE - 5/5
PvP - 5/5
Hybrid - 5/5

(75) Row 16

Intense Showtime (LOCKED) - Skills that utilize MP are executed more quickly, with decreased MP usage and lowered cooldown rates, when Berserk Mode is activated.
A good passive that contributes to mainly PvE. With the addition of Berserk Mode's unlimited ammunition and increased damage, this greatly increases your efficiency to do more damage as you get lower cooldown and less MP to use. Within PvP, I don't see how you're going to get 3 awakening beads before you even die, unless you have a crazy high amount of awakening charge. Regardless, take this skill at anytime you see fit.
**If you are curious to learn how much MP is dropped from the use of all skills, see the chart on this page: Intense Showtime - ElWiki
PvE - 5/5
PvP - 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid - 0/5 or 5/5

**To unlock Intense Showtime, you must do the Advanced Branch skill quest.
---
Quest 1: Buy the High Quality scroll (It costs 300k ED from Camilla, aka the PVP girl)

Quest 2: Collect 50 drops from any mob in 4-6

Quest 3: Collect 4 drops from Uno Hound (boss) in 5-1 on any difficulty.

Quest 4: Collect 3 drops from Chloe (boss) on 5-2 on Very Hard

Quest 5: Clear 5-1 on Very Hard in less than 6 minutes, Clear 5-2 on Very Hard in less than 8 minutes, and Clear 5-3 on Very Hard in less than 8 minutes.
---

Leg Shot - Shoot the enemy in the leg with a Silver Shooter, reducing their movement and jump speed.
In PvE, this adds for combo variety and good amount of damage. In PvP, you cripple your opponent while dealing a good amount of damage. Mix this with a water element and your opponent moves almost like a snail. I recommend you max this as soon as possible.
PvE - 0/5 or 5/5
PvP - 5/5
Hybrid - 5/5

(80) Row 17

Artillery Strike - Set the Destroyer on the ground and select an area around the map using the cross-hair to be bombarded with missiles.
A.k.a "Trolltillery Strike," this skill is best used on wide-sized bosses or mobs as Aceldama would. Optional to max at anytime you wish. Remember that you should use this when you are in a clear zone, and that the cross-hair must be locked onto a target or a target near it in order for missiles to be fired.
PvE - 0/5 or 5/5
PvP - 0/5 or 5/5
Hybrid - 0/5 or 5/5

4: Extras

4.1 Tips and Special Tricks

In this section there are tips for every newbie Chung and maybe some tricks intermediate or advanced players do not know about.

Guardian: Tips

What to do:

*Never forget ZZvZ! This move is not only able to be looped as an infinite combo, but it loads a free cannonball. Very useful.

**Occasional >>^X in PvP. This is a very useful attack that will boost you to high platforms above you as Eve would reach easily with her glide or Rena with her double jump. And if an enemy is jumping to get you, blast them in the face! Remember that you need a cannonball to perform this attack.

What NOT to do:

*NEVER EVER ZZZZ. It may give a boosting finisher damage, but this knocks down enemies and a rule to comboing is NEVER KNOCKDOWN, or do most hits possible without knocking down. If I see you doing this in dungeons or PvP I will make sure you get stabbed. With bullets.

Shooting Guardian: Tips

Deadly Chaser: Tips

4.2 Skill Build Help

Normal Lv50 DC Build:

Skill Simulator SG/DC

Spoiler!

4.3 Equipment Recommendations

Lv1-20: Do whatever. Keep Bandit's Set and its upgraded version for long awakening in dungeons. Helps for longer Berserk Mode when you have it.

Lv24-34 or 40 - Red Rock Chief gear. If you can, head to the weapon shop and craft them into their upgraded version (Lethal Cannon, Divine Legs, etc.)

Lv34+ - Black Crow gear. If you feel your RRC is weak, dump it. It shouldn't be, though. That +600 magic attack boost for 5 piece set should suffice until you get a +5 or so weapon around Lv40.
Lv34+* - Craft Master-level gear if you can.

Lv40* - Start PvPing to C rank and get the PvP gear or begin farming Residential Area 3/Hope Bridge for the Velder Militia set, preparing for Lv44.
Lv40** - Craft Master-level gear if you can.

**For those who dungeon often, having awakening charge and awakening time boosters greatly help Berserk Mode, especially when you have Intense Showtime in your high levels.

I`ve been reading your guide with great intensity since you posted it. This is really helping me on a half-way decent Hybrid build.

How well does SG/DC do without a B slot?

I'm not really sure.

Few people say DC is RS 2.0, and I think RS manages somewhat okay without a B-slot, right?

All I know is you definitely need Rumble Shot, Comet Crasher and Bullet Blitz at all times. The 4th skill could be Leg Shot or Reload. With that it should be fine.

With a B-Slot extra skills would be Leg Shot/Reload depending what you took first, Dual Buster (noted) Magic Adrenaline, Head Shot, and a 300 MP skill of choice or Artillery Strike. These 4 are not completely necessary though they add to combo variety or extra damage depending on the situation, dungeon or PvP. So I'm guessing DC can handle things a little easier than a RS would.

Well, as a former Rune Slayer I can assure you that a B slot was not necessary, as you stated.

Sword Fire, Fire-fist, Splash Explosion and, Sword Enchant was my bread and butter in both pvp and dungeons. My B-slot was just utility/ more-pvp-worthy skills like Kick, Counter , Triple Geyser for flying baddies, and Magic Adren.

I have a feeling I`ll enjoy SG/DC alot.

I will say that you shouldn't forget a Magic Necklace, especially with DC's poor mana management.

...Frankly all classes need it.

Nice guide, helpful to me since germany elsword was going to add chung as the new char..

anyway, im going to make PvE build and will never go to PvP, so what should I do with the stat? Critical, speed or awakening charge? I just heard that Chung's movement is so slow and thats make me don't know what to do..

Well I got a big arse movement spd socket on my cash weapon so that took care of movement for me.

Your stats should be atk spd, awakening charge and crit. Primarily you want 15-18 atk spd, because Tussle Technique gives an additional 3%. Then, get crit to 30-40 and combine with Sharpshooter Syndrome. If you do not want SS, then having crit at 30 or above is fine, I recommend at least 40 or 45. If you have the spare slots, then get awakening charge, or if you can find set effects with awakening time/charges, get that.

okay thanks for the solution

and 1 more question about "Accurate Marksmanship". Was the +10% accuracy only affect to silver shooter and cannon attacks, or also normal smacking attacks?

I believe it increases the accuracy stat as it would with Tussle Technique for attack speed. So it's +10% accuracy on everything.

Bear in mind that in the future, Accurate Markmanship will be reduced to Lv3 (+6% Acc, +6% Range, +5% mana gain) as a nerf I suppose, or to be equal with regular 2nd job skill tree passives. I suggest you live with Lv3 so you do not have to re-adapt to the new build. Though it may not affect you much, and the change is only likely to happen after many months, plus, you get to use 2 SP in another skill to save some time.

I just thought with free +10%, I can leave the empty socket slot for some other useful stat, since 10% worth on dark elves.

and with 4% or so accuracy maybe i can somehow manage with equips or accesories, thanks for the info anyway XD
