and also, if you were to shout-tears would you need a certain amount of dexterity? you know, for that little 'same tab' skill cd? but since lv3 shout makes it bounce higher, you dont need too much dexterity

DEX lowers cooldown. That would be cast delay for being in the same skill tab, and as far as I know, there's no way to reduce it. My d fist doesn't come any sooner after crosscut in myth than in pvp =/, so I don't think it would be any different for Eir than for sieg.

i'm pretty sure that dexterity doesn't affect height in combos

you need to at least have the height of AS or level eight dodge in order to use shout->tears

He/she wasn't talking about height. He/she was talking about the cooldown of using skills in the same tab.

dexterity does not affect height in combos...
it does affect CD and i think your movement speed.
I have ~220 dex and i move like a freaking snail...-.-
and my CDs are terrible.

back to shout
lvl 1 or lvl 3 = the same thing, not much difference. I find that shout is awkward to use in combos, like Dainn's Hand, so i dont even bother giving it a slot.

@Pathos: Level 8 dodge gives you a LOT more room for error than AS height if your planning on shout->tears. If you lag, or press a button late, you might miss with AS.
If your hellbent on using AS shout tears, try this...facing left.
AS-shout-tears dashAS spirit-shift(use keys 1,7) AA(AAA) dashAS*if u dont wanna waste more skills, use Eir's frontal(dash AS Scancel repeat w/ shifts as needed)* FMB Sacred Wave (optional) dashAS dodge

I think its also possible to use AAS height shout tears, but it needs to be perfect.

do you mean aas shout tears?... wouldn't the height be about the same as "AAS AAAA d AS"?
If it is, then its not possible.... I was trying it so many times when I came back after quitting for like half of the time when TFT was hosting lunia. It worked in OB but its not working now.
