hey john, welcome back! about the eir's buff, u forgot to mention that SW is dash cancellable after 3rd hit now. however it doesn't seem to add much height so it's sometimes hard to catch it. easy stuff would be like aas aa dash as SW dash as HS. i haven't got much time to test it, just got the skill today. also i thought there could be something added to the s cancelling thing. when u start to do aas, if say the enemy is slightly miss-aligned and is a bit above, u can do like, facing 6, aas aaaa dash a 9 s s 66 holyspirit etc to align it. maybe this is too specific, but i thought it could be included

EDIT oh yea one thing i forgot to mention. moonlight chain's dmg is not as crappy as some might think. if u stand right in front of an enemy, every orb will go through him and turns back due to the homing ability to hit twice. so 8 foot/shots will give u 16 hits. (not exactly for combo but meh)

^ orly? did not know that. I knew lvl 1 dodge space against wall

but doesnt dodge lvl 1 go off to da side? if memory serves right it goes to the right of eir... so facing 6 it would be

dodge healcancel 22 dash AS etc

Actually does it go diagonal? if so it would be 33 instead of 22. gg, I'll test it tmrwz.

BTW posted this on ijji forums to... "enlighten" more pplz

Updated with a new way to wall combo, as well as an update to level 1 dodge with thanks to miseri

I promise I'll be doing the damage reset section soon, I just have to figure out why it doesn't work all the time X_x

Great guide!
I was just wondering if you knew how to change directions (90 degrees) when one gets to the wall (without HS)
I saw a couple of healers do it with shout. like dash as (reach a wall) and then suddenly turn 90 degreeds and continue comboing

dAS S Turn <Skill>

Note that you don't have to press Space (the backstep) in order to do this projectile skill turn.

There are two ways... do what it says above... or do the space with the backstep

The above way is good when you need height and can sacrifice positioning and can be easily be fixed with a 4key shift

Another way is with the space... you sacrifice height to get positioning which can be fixed with dash AS or halfdash... really depends on what you need

Thanks for the replies. I tried it a couple of days ago. So far im only able to use hs and shout. Im pretty sure wave would work, but im not lvl 48 yet.

I watched some video but never get it.

Depends on which shift you want to do, the normal way or the "pro" way.
Let's say you're facing 4.

1. blah blah AAAA Dash AS (make sure the S doesn't miss) shout 882 AAAA
instead of 882 you can do different ones of course, 228 or 664

2. blah blah AAAA Dash AS S 4 Space shout Dash(66) AS HS etc.
The S direction Space allows you to turn to the opposite direction of the direction you pressed. So if you do S 4 Space you end up facing 6. And that's when you use a skill to cancel the animation like shout and keep going.
Again, you can pick any key; with the 2nd method you have more freedom because you can pick literally any direction.

EDIT: oh wait there's a 3rd one. It works better when you're 45 degree to the wall.
3. facing 1, with wall being vertical (along 2 and 8)
blah blah AAAAS Dash(66) shout Dash(66) AS(you should baaarely move from the first dash, quickly cancel the dash with shout)
The S after AAAA moves Eir forward quite a bit. When used properly, you should be directly under the enemy after S, that's when you dash (just barely!) and use shout to cancel the dash.
Same as 2., you have total control over whichever direction you want to go.

^ Use the 3rd method if you know that Dash AS will miss :P

You can also use spirit instead of shout in above situations

for method 2, the S 4 space one, instead of turning the other way, i keep on doing it backstep o-o
how do you hold the key ?

It takes practice..like knights learning how to sidestep. You kinda have to learn the timing yourself. When facing 4, if you do S 4 Space, you should see Eir make a half circle and face 6 at the end.

^ Erm, no, you would face 6 at the end if you do S 6 Sp. S Sp is a backstep and you will always end up facing the direction you face. Sounds obvious, and it is.

S 4 Sp would just do the same thing as S Sp if you're already facing 4.

In pvp, I don't think you'll have enough room to do that o.o you'll be hitting the wall at HS.
