Tonight we will be implementing a new piece of software to prevent various forms of abuse on Eden Eternal. This is part of our continued effort to help rid Eden Eternal of Botters, Spammers, and other shady characters 
This upgrade is important to all of our community, so please be aware of the following things:
- Users with viruses, trojans, or other various malicious software on their computer may experience disconnection issues. Please be sure to secure your PC!
- Certain types of programs may interfere with the new software, which could cause disconnection issues. These programs could include things such as anti-virus/spyware software, firewalls, or software that interferes with a user's internet connection.
- This software requires only an additional 6-8 MB of RAM and roughly 0.5% of CPU, so it should not have any noticeable impact on your hardware performance
If you are experiencing any issues we recommend first scanning for any type of malicious software (viruses, malware, spyware, trojans, etc) and removing them.
If your issues persist, please try disabling your anti-virus software or firewall before launching Eden Eternal.

We do not anticipate any widespread issues for normal users (anyone who's not botting, spamming, etc) so the impact of this software is expected to be overwhelmingly positive. If you have feedback about this after you've logged back in after maintenance, please post here and let me know!
