I'll guess from what it says that if you're a higher level, you won't get all the exp/gold from a quest. But who knows. o.o

Also I jsut checked the party lists

Some of them have a sign on the left side saying "!Noob" o_o

It's a system where you are punished for having higher leveled people play with you. The counter systems to this were guilds (which have not been implemented) and the mentor system (which was recently removed going from Early Access -> Open Beta).

Basically game's way of trying to stop power-leveling.

I must say, implementing this system when we already have the fatigue meter is rather annoying. Seriously, it's not enough that I can't level as much as I want(time), but now I can't level as much as I want(amount) via power-level.

I didn't play very much DFO at all during the pre-ob. I might have to jump in to see this noob-o-meter for myself.
