Nari's Uber Foot

Alright, I was playing DFO with Maso, Star and Nari (these're all really good friends/guildies of mine) tonight. Nari was lagging alot and DCed from her entire internet everytime we did a dungeon run 'til recently. We messed around in PVP for a bit, then went back to doing dungeon runs and she stopped DCing, but apparently, she didn't stop lagging. When we got around to going to Grak on master, we got all the way to the boss without having her lag or DC. She plays a gunner by the way. But right when she does that grab gunners do where they pin an enemy down with their foot and shoot 'em (Punisher [thanks Nari]), she lagged, so the boss stayed pinned down the whole time she was lagging and we all just wailed away on it. Nari stopped lagging when it was almost dead, so it got up and we finished it off, but that was definately the most helpful lag I've ever seen. I wish I'd recorded it.

nexon srsly needs to get rid of this P2P connection when you party or do PvP

Though that sounds like the one case where lag was useful.

Yeah, it wouldn't be so bad if you could figure out what port the game uses, at the very least. Then I'd just open that port. But the //monitor command doesn't say what port it uses. Boo.

I remember reading on some whack forum where a person used a bandwidth monitor to watch what ports were being used by DFO. It pretty much jumps across the entire range possible.

What I hate is that most of the time you can't finish because a lagger lags the last monster you need to kill to finish a room.

i can't play with anyone because of p2p lol.. even though i can play with my friends normally in other games
