reasonably crippled? i highly doubt that. she has all the useful tools of elementalist that can be used without danger. that ice shield protects against everything, and her "click-and-drag" skill can be used similarly to grappler's fling for hold slave. that blackhole-esque wind attack is incredible especially considering the suction. since this is a pure PvE class (not enabled for pvp) i highly doubt they'll be underpowered whatsoever.
also concerning male mages, they aren't in any way underpowered, especially elemental bombers. you could argue that glacial masters are pretty terrible, but they really aren't THAT bad when you finally get all your crap that actually freezes stuff
I mean to say that, you are still able to -fight- male mages in PVP in practice. Otherwise, seeing as Creator doesn't have to so much a pause to cast spells, I'm just hoping if every transists to PVP, she has lower damage and is about as vulnerable as a wet cookie.
I don't mind strength in PVE though, it doesn't disbalance... much.
But, if she isn't ending up in PVP, everything should be fine!
