Because they can't keep your stuff safe...im pretty sure now they somehow leak all our password or some hacker has them bc 2 of my mule acnt got hacked. I barely even use at all maybe login like twice this year lol still last time i login in it was fine, login yesterday and lookie all avatars/gold are gone... so if you never change pw or set lame pin your should do it...
I do 3 computer scan every 2 week im pretty sure not from my end so must be nexon...

Yeah, lately there has been a lot of hackers, so LOCK ALL YOUR IMPORTANT STUFF.
Alt + Right click. most hackers i've been told about only steal avatars and gold and nothing else so if your avatars are locked then only your gold can be stolen.(which still sucks, but you got your avats and char still at least.)

The hacking pretty much killed the game. A lot of people were already getting bored, but the hacking was the last straw. The game is nearly dead now.

And to add to that with the recent Lag spikes for everyone happening around 6:30 or so. (started on saturday the 15th) all the people that still do play will stop around that time because there has been massive lagspikes that prevent you from doing nearly anything since you have to wait a 1-3 mins or so for your actions to do something. ex. turning in a quest takes reaaallly long.
Not sure if the lagspike issues will keep happening or if they'll be fixed since there has been no notice of any fixes.

My avs and gold were taken from only my mech and summoner. Whoever hacked me was an idiot. Well I still have some money/avs but a friend of mine lost everything of his.

Mabinogi is doing badly too. Housing, guilds, and friendlists are all broken and there's a lot of really bad server lag like whats happening in DFO.

Welp, it's too late for me. Though they took all my lawnchair's equipment and potions, as well as all the gold and avatars from my account. Very thorough.
