IAHGames is the official publisher of Barunson Interactive’s Dragonica in Southeast-Asia, Australia and New Zealand. As such, the IAHGames End-User Licensing Agreement is fully-applicable only to gamers within or from our service regions. We strongly encourage gamers outside our service regions to subscribe to the service provided by licensed publishers in your respective regions.



It is our responsibility to remind all gamers that downloading and playing a version outside your intended service region may be viewed as an infringement of the copyright act by your respective publishers. We hope all gamers will remain aware and respectful of this fact.



IAHGames has not implemented an IP block on the Dragonica service, so as to facilitate IAH gamers, who may be traveling or residing abroad for whatever reason, to be able to play, and not to encourage illegitimate sign-ups outside Southeast-Asia, Australia and New Zealand to play.



As always, we will strive to provide the best service and game products to our gamers.

IMO, IAH just put a notice so they can't be blamed if players from outside their service area decided to play on their server.

The blame would just go to the players playing on server outside their service area. (which would benefit IAH if they are cash user maybe)

Do take it as a legal disclaimer as we move forward with the Dragonica service.

It may not have been stated in the most friendly way, but for various reasons, it was necessary to do so. IAH is not going to penalize anyone for playing here, as it is not under our jurisdiction to. We are also not saying that any other operator is going to, as we cannot speak for their service.

It is STILL your choice where to play.
Nothing has changed before and after the post.


P.S. Many such leading threads have been deliberately started today in an attempt to bait, distort and cause flames in the forum. We will close such posts to prevent the negativity they cause, as leaving them open is as much as saying we agree with the interpretation of the article.

It's more of less for legal issue so neither THQ*ICE or gPotato Europe can't sue them. Basically, it's -our-fault for playing on their servers. It's like one of those "Warning: The content in this cup may be hot" labels. Though I'm not a law student, if someone would like to clarify, please do.

From what I've been told by their management, it will not have any IP blocks so this isn't just a temporary thing.

That's what I see it as too - a legal "cover your ass" notice. No one will show up at anyone's house in black armor with semiautomatic weapons to confiscate computers if you continue to play IAH's version instead of THQ*ICE or gPotato. But, to avoid lawsuits from the other companies, they must have some sort of disclaimer attached to their service.

So far, IAH has proven to be the most community-minded of these 3 publishers and MMOG will continue to pursue a strong relationship with them. Should gPotato or THQ*ICE reach out to the communities as IAH has, we'll work with them as well to provide our users the best experience we can. History has shown, however, that few North American or European publishers care about fansites and fan communities at all.
